Tom Mellan
Tom Mellan is the co-founder of CryptoEconLab, Protocol Labs' research group for the cryptoeconomic systems behind networks like Filecoin, where he works on incentive design for storage providers and public-goods funding mechanisms such as veFIL. Before joining Protocol Labs in 2022 he modeled infectious diseases at Imperial College London, after earning a PhD in computational chemistry and a master's in theoretical physics at UCL.
