Santiago Siri

Santiago Siri is an Argentine technologist and writer working at the intersection of cryptography and democracy. He founded the Democracy Earth Foundation, a Y Combinator backed nonprofit that built Universal Basic Income on Ethereum, and co-founded Proof of Humanity, a sybil-resistant identity registry that became foundational infrastructure for projects like UBI and Gitcoin. Earlier in his career he co-founded Partido de la Red, an Argentine political party built around internet-native direct democracy, and the open source voting platform DemocracyOS. A prominent voice for crypto adoption in Latin America, he hosted Vitalik Buterin's 2021 tour of Argentina and writes and speaks widely on governance, identity, and protocols.
