Paul Faecks is the founder and CEO of Plasma, a layer 1 blockchain purpose-built for stablecoin payments whose September 2025 mainnet and XPL token launch drew billions in stablecoin deposits within days. Plasma counts Tether, Bitfinex, Founders Fund, and Framework among its backers, with Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino as an advisor. Before founding Plasma in 2024, Faecks co-founded and led Alloy, a platform for institutional digital asset operations, and earlier worked as a researcher at Deribit Insights covering crypto derivatives markets.
