Marc Zeller
Marc Zeller is the founder of the Aave-Chan Initiative (ACI), which for over three years was one of the most active delegates and service providers in Aave DAO governance, credited with driving a large share of governance actions, deploying more than $100 million in incentives, and helping turn the protocol from an annual deficit to roughly $150 million in yearly revenue. Active in the Ethereum community since 2015, he co-founded the Ethereum France education nonprofit and previously served as integrations lead at Aave itself. In 2026, amid a widening governance dispute over Aave Labs' budget, voting power, and control of the Aave brand, Zeller announced that ACI would wind down and exit the DAO, closing a chapter in one of DeFi's most watched governance sagas.
