Carlos Domingo

Carlos Domingo is the co-founder and CEO of Securitize, a leading platform for tokenized securities and real-world assets, which he founded in 2017. The company grew out of SPiCE VC, the tokenized venture fund he co-founded, and in 2019 became the first SEC-registered transfer agent operating on the blockchain; it has since become the tokenization partner behind funds from BlackRock, KKR, and others. Before crypto, Domingo spent years as a senior executive at Telefonica, serving as CEO of Research and Development and later CEO of New Business and Innovation at Telefonica Digital. Originally from Barcelona, he holds a PhD in computer science from the Tokyo Institute of Technology and began his career in Japan during the dot-com era.
