ZK HACK III - Puzzle 3 Announcement

foreign we are now here at the moment that we've been waiting for T3 Kobe what do we what are we looking at what's T3 it'll be like so I can't say much but I can say a few words so first of all the puzzle was written by pratish Mishra which is from Elio um and it's called bigger is better I cannot say why you will understand once you solve it but it's around the soundness problem in an inner product commitment scheme

so that later you can prove that an inner product with the committed vector and the public one is equal to some value but there is a problem so that's what you will have to find and break and yeah it's part of it's part of another protocol so you know if you manage to break that you might be able to break the bigger protocol so well have fun cool cool uh one thing maybe we can give everyone a sense for like where to find it what's coming we have hints coming what's the deadline I know this was an issue for people this time around or last time yeah all right so first of all we are

going to release three hints as usual so we're going to do this day after day so the first hint will be tomorrow evening and then day after the second and so on and the deadline is Monday next week on 10 12 a.m UTC so end of the day Monday exactly up until the end of the day yet not the start of the day that's a good point yeah um yeah and feel free to ask questions in the puzzle chat channel on Discord uh it's usually pretty active during the the puzzle season and you can form teams if you still don't have one and um

yeah and again like use all the background material that we put in the puzzle page we're going to put it up as soon as we go go of the there and it's going to be on the website you will be able to access it you will have some background material you will have some artworks tutorial and you will have a link to the GitHub page the GitHub repository where we have the puzzle and yeah that's pretty much it yep somebody's asking in the chat so we've we've shared the link a little early but we it will be enabled shortly um exactly we want everyone yeah we want people to get the same sort of chance so we're going to just publish it we'll put that in the puzzle chat uh once it's

live and we also will right now be publishing solutions for T2 leaderboard update uh I know last time we didn't quite get it in the like hour after but we're gonna we're gonna work on that this time so we should get it to you uh we're getting hints did you mention the hints yep yep day after day first one tomorrow evening cool so yeah anyone who's competing be ready as you know it's time like the more the faster you can solve this the more points you're gonna get so you are actually kind of racing against the clock but they have to be right and there is this extra prize for write-ups so you know if if you feel like maybe it's not you're not going to compete on

speed compete on the best right up yeah fit exactly okay so I want everyone to be also aware of our next Workshop this comes up on Thursday so in two days we're going to be having scaling an exploration group from the ethereum foundation and of one Labs um you can find links to this on our website I think we're going to probably add links in the chat it's basically the same yeah it's the same as same site as this but with a six at the end uh it should be a really good Workshop I hope to see you there and yeah next week we have Elio you can already sign up for both of those on through the website as well just a thing we had so much fun at the job fair last week I don't know if you

came but it was really great so we're gonna do an after party on December 13th so that's next Tuesday after everything wraps up and we're going to be using the same map so if you came to the job fair and you want to come hang out again go for it we're probably gonna play some more poker and stuff like that or if you just like if you missed it and you want to check it out you heard about it you get a chance to basically see the space some of the sponsors should be there some of the the hiring teams it's not exactly a job fair it's more of like an after party but you might still be able to catch some of them cool and yeah if you're ever looking for jobs be sure to check out the jobs board everyone's I think everyone's posted
