hi hi hello um why don't you tell me who you are oh yeah I'm Felix hey Felix if they're in foundation nice yeah wait one of the clients Felix how long have you been working at the etherion foundation huh pretty much since the beginning no way yeah are you so have you been to all the def cons yeah so Wow I think you're the first person we're integrating you've been to all the Def Con what what was your favorite Def Con now this one okay it's like the biggest okay but it's also super relaxed because so you know just conference wise you know the food it has been great yeah there is just you know food is available all the

time for well done yeah and there's just because there's so much space you don't actually notice it's twice the participants is last year right really yeah how many people are here took this year yeah a couple thousand like three thousand ants or something like that what do you think that there was a theme this year maybe an unofficial theme well I mean there's like if there I'm 2.0 coming up so that's definitely one theme okay that I'm aware of and then so so that's been going and other than that yeah well it's a there are so many things this year where it's really hard to say these I feel like everyone's

doing sort of their own track for their own interest yeah so there's like the hardware security people yes if the governance folks yeah governance people that developers designers people who are working on ethereum people are working on yeah fringe technologies around it so it's really hard to compress all that into like a single sort of a I mean fair enough how about this what was your favorite talk Oh far my favorite talk so far I mean we're getting near the end so maybe we say your favorite top of it I'm actually not prepared for this question it so I like somehow I like to keynote so that was that was italics no I us he knows oh that was kind of nice because

it was like very sort of drawn out and this whole like gteen subtraction thing that which is hand but yeah this is actually really hard to say with my favorite tacos maybe you can just highlight a couple that you liked yeah that you remember no I can't say there were like information already good no way yeah so I feel there hasn't been this this one the single one where I could say oh this is really bad can I can I throw another maybe difficult question your way oh yeah was there any you've probably had a ton

of conversations with people about different topics meetings is there any conversation that stands out what was it about and who's it with if you can tell oh yeah sure yeah so they commit conversations it's a bit different so that's great so my I am working mostly on peer-to-peer networking so yeah not on the blockchain and northern any kind of gap so this is from my perspective the best thing was that the lit p2p crowd it's like a peer-to-peer networking library yeah they have they had a like a giving your session I'm going in the evening so they didn't actually have any kind of workshop on the schedule yeah but then it was just like like 20 people and one of these super tiny meeting rooms and they were all sitting on the floor and then they kind of gave me a chance to

you know also like present my side of things we did some comparisons between different p2p tools and stuff almost a session yeah so that was like a family like a family moment in a way Wow everyone in the room that was like really close together it wasn't like audience over here and then the presenter over here did you meet anybody in that we're like you've never seen in in real life we've only seen online or did you know most of those people in this room know but in general at Def Con it's like yeah there are some familiar people that I only meet at Def Con Wow because there are some and then what most of the time it's just yeah new people that I haven't seen did you did you check out any of the parties yeah

well I was at one event okay and the rest of the days I was just super tired but I was a coin raises like we drink cement that's good did you enjoy it it was kind of weird because I came there pretty late okay and then I all I wanted was orange juice but all that one Jews had like vodka and I heard about that I heard almost exactly that story from someone going to that party and being like I just want juice oh let's see what else can I ask house Prague as a location what do we think I've been here before when I was still in school yeah so I couldn't know what it looks like okay

and yeah it's just it's nice I mean for me I'm European and it just feels at home yeah transport it's easy to get here it's not as weirdest Asia for me so for me this is just like I know what the rules are where do you think it'll be next year I'm assuming you'll be there next year yeah where do you think it should be where would you like it to be oh so we haven't done Japan yet so I mean yeah Berlin would be easy for me but you know so Switzerland it's nice in a way and for some reason it's probably not gonna be in the u.s. yeah because there hasn't better there hasn't been one in the old at all but it's it can be tough with

like the visa and you know it became fraud oh listen they would like a bunch of ideas having it in Morocco and Spain and like all these things and in the end it became proximity because the venue was like this venue was available okay let's see cool well thank you for doing this interview awesome and I won't keep you any longer because I know it's been a long couple of days cool all right see you in Berlin then yeah hey
