Unauthorized POAP.fun raffle with the Stoner Cat community
EthStaker Special Events · November 2020 · 2:43
This EthStaker special event covers an unauthorized raffle run through POAP.fun involving the Stoner Cats NFT community, an early example of how Proof of Attendance Protocol tokens were being repurposed for community giveaways outside their original design. It discusses the confusion and community response the unofficial raffle caused. The episode uses the incident to illustrate the risks of unofficial tools built around POAP infrastructure.
