Daniel Knopik and Pop present tooling for simulating an Ethereum network at scale at Devcon 7, spinning up large numbers of interacting nodes to study consensus and networking behavior under realistic load. The talk covers how such simulations help developers stress-test client software and peer-to-peer networking changes before they reach mainnet. Network simulation is a standard technique for surfacing consensus and networking bugs before code ships to a live chain.
