foreign [Music] good morning everyone good morning thank you [Applause] okay so by a show of hands who's excited by a future where Financial Freedom is feminine [Applause] well you're in the right place because we are all going to co-create that together today and our mission is Financial Freedom is feminine because when women are financially empowered they start to unlock opportunities across all areas of

their lives including overall health and well-being we get to make choices about where and how we live work and spend our time so where does blockchain fit into this well at shifai we believe that blockchain and crypto provide an unprecedented opportunity for people globally to build and truly own their wealth finances and value and this is because blockchain technology is permissionless that means it's public so for the first time in history access to that value is not gate kept it's not behind Bank approvals it's not behind a know your customer process and you do

not need anyone's permission to access and create that value and that is so powerful and what you do need to access blockchain technology is education and that's why shifai is so committed to empowering women and non-binary folks through education to not only create value for themselves but to create value for the entire web3 ecosystem Anaheim [Applause] [Music] and I'm so thrilled to be kicking off the shifai Summit Series in Paris this is a wonderful expansion of our

educational initiatives taking shifai from a virtual first classroom to a physical space that provides leaders thinkers Builders and investors to engage Inspire and unite together and this is not just an event but a celebration of our shared moments a momentous breakthroughs as a community and finally why I'm really excited about the shifai Summit is in a world of ever increasing digital connections and time spent online I cannot understate the power of in-person gatherings they are a space to provide community

for real connections that we can deepen and a place where we can help each other spark our creativity and I hope you walk away from today feeling inspired engaged and ready to make an impact and the web3 ecosystem alongside with us so welcome [Applause] and since this is at the beginning of the ethereum Community Conference week we've invited Bettina one of the organizers facilitators magical hands that makes ECC work to give you a quick overview of Etc week and how you can make the most of it welcome Bettina

[Applause] thank you thanks Maggie um welcome everyone I'm super excited to see so many people ready for ECC and the CC week so I'm just going to give a quick layout of what's going to happen uh tomorrow morning the doors open at 9am who here's has an Etc ticket okay great news great news I won't make any enemies today exercise sold out please do not try to come in I've seen a lot of Twitter threads of people trying to think of how they can climb the walls and everything I've got a great team of security they won't be kind however as every year during SSA we live stream

every single talk so for people who are not able to get in you can go on a website and still have access to all the knowledge that will be shared next week yet to say will also be in two buildings this year and the street is public so plan for your meetings uh a friend of mine from another Festival told me you know at that Festival you need to prepare your meetings and stick to them because otherwise you'll never meet people do the same at it City if you know people that you want to meet if you know Investors Business people any kind of person try to make a plan to meet them and do so it's so rare as Maggie mentioned it's so important to meet in real life I have some personal great stories about it to say a couple of

years ago of companies that were sitting next to each other and decided to merge of Founders that used to distribute t-shirts and now own companies where people have bags of little ghosts hanging around so you know so much things happened um and that's all I've got to say there's 12 different tracks go on the agenda on the website check out the different tracks check out the talks you want to go to we have 380 speakers this year you won't be able to listen and see them also choose your favorites and if you do have questions I am here for another 15 to 20 minutes so you can come and ask questions and for the rest of it just enjoy the shifai summit it's

amazing to see more and more women in the space I'm generally hiding so this is very intimidating for me but I'm really really happy about this day and that is it [Applause] [Music] thank you so much patina and congrats on another etcc so now I'm going to invite Jules up Jules warring who is the CEO and founder of enso who has been really my co-conspirator and person answering my messages late late in the night about the summit and so she's going to talk about the rewards program we have going on throughout the day and some other tips to help you make the most of it hello everyone how's everyone doing

today bright and early I wanted to kind of introduce this because I thought it would be a fun way to gamify the experience and also get rewarded whether it's digital merch when I'm which I'm a very big fan of but also physical merch so basically what we're going to do is we're going to have these QR codes up here and for every talk and every initiative and workshop you'll be able to scan it and basically get a co-op in your token proof app does anyone have any issues or does everyone have a token proof app so far cool and if you don't have it please find me or find my team which they are there in the box they're hiding
