you look at web 2 which most of us are still on the data is owned by Google by Facebook by Instagram or you know you have a reputation which you cannot carry from one platform to the other uh you know you cannot uh you know kind of monetize whatever work that you have done for example say you have 100 000 bit of followers but if you want to go out of Twitter to a different platform you really cannot right so all your data is being owned by these companies so many of you must have seen that the famous Netflix series which is the social dilemma where you are the product right I mean it's your data which is being monetized by these large companies

so uh the future or the dream of web 3 is the ownership economy right can we own our digital identity can we own our data you know that's really what everybody offers is building for so what is your digital identity right like for example um you know you have a person sandy.nft right so you are an artist you are a Creator so you want to have a DOT nft a kind of a domain uh you have all your addresses linked to this human readable name to have all your social uh you know profiles for example Twitter or Instagram all of this linked to this

domain name which is a webc domain name right which is a very digital identity you can also have badges like for example gamer and you may have some gamer tags you may have you know collected some you know achievements in different games or you may for example own a lazy line or crypto chicks or you know something else all these patches everything is linked to this digital Identity or your web free digital identity right and the most important thing is uh you can choose what kind of data you want to share that's that you log in so if you're logging into a game you don't want to share your location you don't want to not share your email you can make sure that your data is not shared with those dats right so in

if we can give our citizens a decentralized digital Identity or GDP really can work because you don't have to pay people and Facebook for their ads uh last but not the least McDonald's are most important initiatives is women of web 3 I'm not saying many women here but the idea is to increase more women participation in the factory world as per research it says that I think only seven percent of your women leaders are there in the very world so we started this we launched it in Asia token 2049 the idea is to get more and more women into the factory world uh this is free

for anybody to join so ill women Founders or even if you are part of a company and you want to actually help other women out in learning more about web3 or this is a not-for-profit it's called as women of web 3 Unstoppable we launched this on March 8th of this year and already we have close to about 200 companies which have signed it or you know this number is increasing so we have done about 55 Twitter space about 35 000 women educated in fact in Singapore token in 20149 we launched with a partner where nine year old girls can teach other nine-year-old girls on their
