Modular Interoperability: let's get to 1 standard, before there are 15

Name: Modular Interoperability: let's get to 1 standard, before there are 15
Duration: 24 min 10 s
Description: Charleen Fei and Susannah Evans argue for consolidating the modular blockchain ecosystem around a single interoperability standard rather than the dozen-plus competing approaches currently in use. At Protocol Berg 2023, they lay out the fragmentation risk that comes from rollups, data availability layers, and settlement chains each speaking a different cross-chain messaging protocol.
