Lighthouse Slasher

Devconnect Istanbul 2023 · 17 Nov 2023 · 13:55

Eitan Seri-Levi presents the Lighthouse slasher at Devconnect Istanbul 2023, a component of the Lighthouse consensus client built to detect validator behavior that would trigger slashing penalties. The talk covers how the slasher monitors attestations and block proposals for double-signing and surround-voting violations, helping node operators catch misconfigurations before they result in a validator being penalized on Ethereum's beacon chain.
