Lambda Elixir Consensus Client

Devconnect Istanbul 2023 · 17 Nov 2023 · 26:01

Martin Paulucci, Paul-Henry Kajfasz, and Tomás Grüner introduce Lambda, an Ethereum consensus client written in Elixir, at Devconnect Istanbul 2023. The talk covers why Elixir's concurrency model suits implementing the beacon chain and where the client currently stands in development. A new consensus client adds to the diversity of implementations alongside existing options, part of the broader effort to harden Ethereum's proof-of-stake network against a single client's bugs or outages.
