to the second keynote of the day. Uh that's a novelty. Yes. Uh the stars align well and we have a second keynote today on hard truths of real world data. Um so web three usage uh in Ukraine. >> Yeah. under very specific and and and hard conditions. Uh but that also make for interesting findings or so I would assume. Uh yeah, thanks a lot uh Maxim for bringing this uh to us and uh let's go.

>> Yeah. Uh I have a lot not a lot of time because everybody waiting for the lunch. Yeah. But uh I tell you a story a story about us um uh and what we do in in Ukraine. uh uh we are echoish network uh and today it's uh very specific day for us because uh uh uh today we celebrating uh uh eight years of our network and every Wednesday in morning we have a zoom and in this zoom we speaking about uh our

needs uh or about uh our projects or about everything uh in our in our network. Uh and today was a real specific uh zoom call about u 40 people uh join and it was uh different people some men's uh now uh are in militaries uh in front line and they have zoom from front line. uh some women's uh living in in other countries and they as a refugees uh in Europe and

uh they have a zoom from uh others countries uh but me here [laughter] and uh uh it's a real network but sometimes it's not only about land based location uh if you understand the where is the front line front line is uh uh uh here and here and here and here and its potential line because it's a Bellarusian and uh 12 of these villages was occupied six of them was uh crashed and other uh continue to live and uh

that is our story but it's not all story uh because a lot of these people living in different places. Uh but they continue work in our in our network. Yeah. And um of course uh every time we have a challenges and uh with this winter that coming it's uh very hard wind winter because Russian change a strategic and they now very systematically crash all our energic system logistic system and they

do that very specifically. Uh step by step uh uh crashing this uh um uh all fuel station and logistics uh uh notes and everything uh very systematically. And uh this uh this winter it will uh be hard. And what we do year by year of this for uh we every time uh uh making a new and new uh solar station water system it's a question about mobility about land regeneration and all of this uh to be more resilience

in our situation for our villages. This is map for one year of work but every year we uh add something new for for our network and our community spaces. Uh it was a film uh one time uh the name of this film is a crisis crisis of it's our brand. is a film about politics about uh uh one country in Latin America but uh this name it's very specific for us because collapse uh cause crisis and postapocalypsis it's about us and that

is our brand but u yeah and uh sometimes I uh thinking about this film because uh it was about PR uh of uh one uh politics uh consultant and she looking for new and new possibilities how to promote uh your project uh and make you stronger uh when collapse continue. Yeah. And is it about us? Every time we looking for new new possibilities how we can uh be in uh uh uh in different uh conferences and be as

a voice you know uh our biggest pro uh project it was green road that is a green road as a picture and uh it's uh when start the war people move from the east to the west uh to more more safety places and we make as a map about 100 location uh you can it it was only very primitive Google maps with uh maps with location and telephones and uh we sent this link uh to this Google maps uh only to the chats for the people and in one time I I

see that how many views It was half million views of this map and people uh using this map uh to call uh to uh have only one night sometimes uh in one of these place uh and uh our gen network echo village yrop they join to this map about 350 location and it was as a big map uh and they make as a chart with focalizer from different countries and they communicate the people and they moving and moving and moving and it was thousand of thousands of people and some

of them stay so move uh continue to move uh and it was a big project of green rod and echo villagers from uh European countries say that uh we gather all the Europe um uh last 10 years they never gather like in that situation uh and yeah and uh it was situation when we make as gen network strong again yeah uh but it's uh continue only two years because people who want to move they move and other uh stay and uh now

uh I I don't know what happens this winter. Uh but uh I hope not a lot of people uh moving. Uh everybody's staying. Yeah. Uh of course a lot of humanitarian tracks uh moved to us previously from Danish uh uh organization and Netherlands uh something help us. It it is how it's going uh about three or four truck uh through the every year we have and they send us everything for community space.

It's one of community spaces uh and uh it is a storage and after we send it it to other location and how it works. Uh yeah but uh uh our case is not about uh please help us uh uh it's about how we can uh communicate u peer-to-peer uh about something uh as a solution uh when uh how we find it in in in our uh situation crisis situation. Uh that is my speech in Ethereum Prague when I uh show how we building economic system

uh with blockchain and web3 integration. Yeah, one of this integration is Sarafo network. Maybe you know about this platform. Uh we find it uh in uh and I connected with Will Reduk. We have some zooms. Uh yeah. And uh uh we translate this uh uh his book uh to our Ukrainian language and we make as some pools. One of them is to loc because stola is the name a specific name when people gathering together and do something without money as a volunteers and maybe you know and

have this specific name because in different countries it's uh they have but in Ukraine it's tooka story in blockchain.

Yeah. Uh in blockchain because I understand that it it's important not only for us we write this story because we don't know uh what future uh we have in next year. Maybe all our echo villages was uh destroyed. Who knows? But we make this story for other communities who want to build a network. Yeah. And uh that is our little statistic in Sarafo network about 100 active wallets and 246 transaction and uh it's it's a token circulation. Uh and this tooka pool is

the biggest pool when uh a lot of our villagers make a reports and transaction. It's very simple because we say one report uh you can take uh 10 USDC and they uh make reports is a motivation why to do that in in Sarafu but for us it's important because we use these reports in other uh uh traditional grants and uh big reports and other things. Yeah. And of course it's how to uh how to uh study people uh making uh as a transaction in blockchain. Yeah.

And uh uh it was a question for me uh how our people in echo villages uh stay to work with uh with crypto. But uh in Ukraine crypto is very popular. People use it and it's not problem for us. uh but we have a lot of adapts of low tech but u in practice they use uh they use uh as a crypto yeah and it's work uh yeah it's our pool if you want to find uh uh to find how it's going it's our reports it's our pool and uh how how

it's going you can open safon network as platform find uh this tooka pool and uh see uh how it works. Yeah. But uh it's not only about that because for us it's uh community economics is sarafa network uh for uh land regeneration and carbon credits. we start to use regen network for uh solar station arine and uh that is idea because we have no coders you know it's uh we are only as activists and uh we have no strong team in uh in

coding uh but and uh our strategic was how to build a partnership between between a platform or teams who do something all who always do that. Uh and uh we as work as a partners or clients or adepts of uh of ideas. Yeah. We working with Sylvi and other platform. Yeah. Um yeah, it's our reality. Uh it's a bombs. uh and after bombing we use our uh permaculture technology to uh regenerate the land uh and uh making as a courses

and or trainings or workshops it's a biochar it's a harvest it's a presentation it's very simple uh this woman now living in Finhorn Finhorn is famous echo village in Scotland and uh about 20 Ukrainian uh uh people living in Finhorn right now and maybe other hundreds of Ukrainian people live in other eco villages in Europe and uh she is certificated trainer of permaculture and uh she has one location in Ukraine and and working in Finhor and moving uh between uh two of these location and uh

it's uh how it's going for our a villagers. uh it's this cases I want to show uh for for uh idea of oza because uh uh it's uh for me when I uh uh read this uh white paper uh I thinking uh how we can be as a regenerative villages because uh uh uh that is 20 years of regeneration in Google maps. You can open this Google maps and it's as archive of screens and you can find uh this guy it's as a blind

blind it's blind blind and he is blind it's his children and uh he uh working with that because a lot of Ukrainian village uh it was idea to take degradated lands uh and after uh step by step regenerate. uh they live as a individual homestead about one hectare of the land take one family and uh they make as that is the lakes they have some lakes and uh that is the line between uh as it is one equival um yeah and we support these people

as a coordinator of a village network of Ukraine. uh of course we start to use uh previously we work uh with traditional grants and foundation and uh we continue to work but idea is how to mix it it's uh with uh new new types of climate round in web 3 we start to work uh with gas it's our pool of uh project uh regenerative project it's about bicycles uh and commodian spaces. Yes, it's it moves slowly but we continue is Gitcoin uh platform. We start work with MAR's

Foundation and three rounds we continue to work with them. Uh not so big money but it's real big motivation for us. But in Ukraine we have uh our own uh platform fundraising platform it's name of pistic club and uh people uh uh his project put in this platform it's only in Ukrainian work and uh it's idea how uh our as little businessman's uh support uh our economics uh locally And that is uh three types of economics

because one of this is u traditional grant who support us as a Danish foundation uh Netherlands foundation it's a genation uh next is as a crypto uh rounds and next is as our local platform uh who supported uh uh uh project in echo villages. Yeah, about uh gaps, outgoing gaps because in Ukraine something went wrong. One of these is uh Ukraine uh have as conflict regions as a crema regions and uh uh this conflict uh uh closed for us uh a

lot of different uh platform. uh hipper was closed but we uh in uh support working with support and they open Ukraine uh it's as a salo wallet mini pay uh closed uh we we communicate but they closed uh and that is a problem because uh all time when we speak about uh supporting grassroot communities in other in different places uh in world. Uh for me sometimes it's a question because not for all. Yeah. Uh and next uh trouble is about quadratic algorithm

because uh uh it's a as a uh round when $200,000 taking only four uh location that is Tamara he take $25,000 Tamara it's echo village in Portugal and uh it help uh they take it because PayPal was open for Ukraine people is working so so [gasps] and of course they they take more voices and algorithms choose them but not choose us and it was only algorithm question uh and uh of course $2,000 for

60 location it's not relevant that $25,000 for one location but it uh it only algorith alorithm sorry quadratic and quadratic algorithm detected uh our transaction between our uh wallets as a cyber attack because uh our pool uh make a voices in rounds and uh algorithms say no no it's not a community it's not a big network it's a cy it's a h and they cut our voices and That is the problem and that that important to say when you speaking about algorithms

about technologies because sometimes went wrong uh if it's only technologies uh sometimes it's better that mix it between people and technologies because only technologies make as uh this situation uh tools and gadget it's very interesting case because something tools and gadgetes not connected or not working and if you're not technical man or only woman with children uh you put it it's not working and uh now arine we have some challenge with that because it's about tokenization of our solar station in in

our community spaces uh and that is the idea to take this smart matter and verificated our solar energy and tokenizing it. But uh that is open question because we start to work that but uh technical questions sometimes moving uh during months and uh in carbon verification in regen network we two years waiting for this verification that is the problem uh and uh previously it's a question about uh how we can use this technical and bureaucracy because

everybody manifesting that uh grassroot communities and uh we make a new revolution and everything else but in reality something uh have trouble. Uh next question is about GPS. uh when you uh is a sylvvi if you uh plant the trees and uh make a photo and that is a question because uh in Ukraine for protect our uh land from uh uh with drones and bombing uh GPS move uh location and uh sometimes you should

move your trees 25 kilometer. Yeah, to put it in a real uh true location and that is a problem but we fix it is uh with Sylvia with Jimmo uh it's good connection he opens the chat and we working it's okay uh and he helped us with that to fix this trouble. Yeah. And uh that is very interesting case because if you see the front line, front line is here.

You see how people is active uh in that places uh and not so active in other places. This is front line too. Uh it's about where is the life, where is the activity. Sometimes life and activity were uh more uh uh active in the line of the death. And uh it's very uh important sometimes to understand uh with whom you should more as work and support it because a life is here in the line of the death and supported it's

better to these places uh because uh they want to do something every time. uh they understand how important uh to give new life uh it's it's about trees of course but we continue every season and uh maybe uh next months we repeat our tree planting action. Yeah. Yeah. About uh tree planting action. Every season we make this action and people do this do it not for money or for reports or for things uh because echo village it's about as a as a religion you know to uh to uh give

a life and uh to make to planted the trees and uh uh uh when we start to work with uh ma Uh we have a lot of conflicts uh and uh sociocratic conflicts and other uh conflicts about uh um uh administrating system. uh and we make this action and we say that okay we are difference but in earth we trust [laughter] and we in earth we together we have not conflict when we start to do something on the earth and uh it was next level of

our evolution as a network when we uh continue to support this action yeah uh uh regen bank is uh our platform is is a fork because when we continue to work with regen network and uh uh two two uh years it uh nothing to happens uh we make as a uh platform of regen bank and uh show uh our project here and make as a pre-sale of a tokens uh in in this platform and we want to

continue to develop this as a carbon marketplace because we have an idea how to uh make as a new level of biodiversity research or monitoring places or uh work with uh bees or um uh tree planting or other and other action. Yes, hacking uh crypto is a it's is a hacking and in one time uh one guy hack us. It was very interesting because uh he has a profile with karma karma

platform. He makes this pro pro platform and call to me uh when I need some support and uh uh and he give me this support and uh it was as a fishing site and after they uh take as a uh key for a recovery key for uh wallet and take uh money. It was money from uh two rounds and uh uh it was hard and it's it's about trouble uh

with uh with crypto when you work because in one time someone can hack you. Uh of course I write in the chats uh because it's it was said believing we believe each other. I know we know each other online but and uh is that was the problem. Yeah. uh impact dashboard. We make uh a dashboard to show how we tokenize everything what we do that is as from uh Sarafo network and it about 70 reports or more uh segmentated by types of work echo village volunteering comming spaces and uh other other

activities and you can see all our pools and how many transaction and after a voucher for every name of a villages happy people living and other other here it's tree planting tree planting how many project how many hectars uh verificated on painting or in review status yes and different eco villages uh that is as a hippert certificate that is as a solar station and uh um uh smart matters of all our solar station and that was idea how to show in one

dashboard everything what we do our impact uh in in uh in tokens uh yeah but we on the way of course uh and uh we need some maybe technical people who can support us in that because it's only first steps I feel uh how we can uh going and uh about circulation of money because uh we start uh only with simple step uh $10 it's one report uh and uh people take this uh money and after they can use this money for voting

uh in the rounds and after these rounds we making a new pools for uh uh supporting something. uh after uh people uh putting in Sylvi uh how they uh planting a trees, they take some money from uh Sylvi and after they uh take some tokens for a Korean and this is a circulation because we every time uh supporting and supporting uh by crypto uh activities uh and they has should more stronger with economics because uh in in the future I see that they have as

tokconomics but every time now we need as a financation we do that yeah and uh step by step we building new culture of economics yeah because it's about uh six villages and uh uh slowly they integrated Yeah. Uh it's my wallet a lot of different tokens. [laughter] [gasps] Yeah. Because every round and every platform use uh another tokens and another tough types of crypto. But uh when we start uh

some man's uh come from France and he speak as story uh about uh uh about bank of alternative local money and uh it was a bank about 26 local money for supporting of grassroot communities but it was fiat money And I'm not understand how to integrate this fiat money because he say if you want to uh build economics with fiat money, you should have about uh 100 of little stores or farming or and I say I haven't because in uh our

communities sometimes live only three five families sometimes only one man stay in our communities that is the difference, but we have a lot of land. Less of people, but a lot of land, sometimes 50, 100 hectares. Why it happens? Because we have 11 hours of the war and people uh moving and we lost these people. And of course how to do with that when we have only few peoples and big distance between these peoples because uh difference between uh German communities and Ukrainian that is uh in Ukraine it's one

family one hectares that is the difference at a distance that is the problem or not problem or it's our pattern if it's our pattern how to be with that how to build community building how to build economics how to build relations how to do with that who can help us that is the problem because I'm a only communicator I don't know I I study Danish experience about circle about everything and we bring it to Ukraine but we understand it's not relevance For

us we need something difference and uh that was a problem. we start to uh testing this hypothetis uh something it works sometimes not and I show you and it's about uh our stack because we speak about surviving in the war situation in surviving that is a question because we have in one line in one uh line we have as a front line in other it's a climate crisis because front line pushing is a climate and climate pushing [laughter] because it's a desertation of big territories

uh uh and uh uh that question how [snorts] how to survive the question of water of uh mobility of uh uh land food system uh regeneration energetic system uh commodian spaces social infrastructure your refugees, everything and all time in the you sometimes in big routine every time you in telephone because something happens every time and uh that is our reality and we have sometimes in the round $2,000 of dollar and we have a sprint because uh we have

only some months to show as a out uh uh output impact. Yes. Uh and uh reports impact reports and everything uh in positive of course that uh every time we should have as a hope as a solution as a horizont of our planning everything of that because uh it's when is algorithm how to speak without do with donors. Yes.

Uh yeah and uh that is uh that is my story and that is I'm not remember what is it but uh that is our Twitter and GitHub uh I uh every time show what we do uh and um yeah yeah it's about us. Thank you. >> Yeah, thank you. Um, thanks for your presentation and uh for the courage to continue what is already not easy

without a war. Um, thank you. Um, how do you deal with the trauma >> trauma of war and how do you do you what do you do to prevent war to creep inside yourself? How do you fight monsters without becoming a monster yourself? Um >> um well collectively and you personally

if you want to because uh my my team believe >> [laughter] >> It's very good question. Sometimes is good to make tools tools

and it help you to work with your drama. Because I have more life sometimes. >> Yeah. Yeah. Uh it's um um give me these words when you as uh in charge working with uh uh it's um one

moment I need to translate this word uh because it's important uh uh uh service not service it's not uh this words but uh support or uh if uh as echo villages uh and our network is as a charge and ISS support this charge uh that is when I understand that uh someone need help.

And uh previously uh it's a woman with children and uh it help uh with depression or something else because you understand that you should uh help for these people because they stay and they continue to uh uh to work with uh his echo villages, his project. they believe and uh you uh you should to do to work with them because they do uh important things in Ukraine and uh yeah and they believe uh for for for us and for idea

of a village. Yeah. uh we thinking today about that uh often uh postra retroatic often is when you come to Europe and uh tell you every time stories about uh about Ukraine and the war in Ukraine it's real sometimes very traumatic and you need some time to make a pa but everybody uh interested that and you understand you are this voice here uh and sometimes madly maybe only you because uh nobody know what what is going in Ukraine and uh that is as a support and service uh what I should to

do uh because I have two problem with my health and sometimes I have uh low energy sometimes uh I in depression and uh uh can't can't do nothing uh but this is a mission And uh I understand war is continue and nobody prepare us to this but uh we are in and we should to continue and uh nobody ask us we are tired or not because war is continue and people uh killed and uh winter uh uh winter is going and we have only few weeks uh to prepare and uh that

is our reality. and uh and uh of course we should be uh strong, resilient and optimistic. Yeah, that is maybe after war I say and say oh I'm in depression but uh now I can't. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Hi. Thank you so much for sharing. I hear you. But uh you can give

>> maybe I can give this one. Um yeah, I just talked about all the challenges of building a village and I I cannot imagine to have this layer of yeah of something impacting so strongly. Um my question is around you mentioned that some people are currently in Finhorn for example and that some people are uh from the villages have are now spending time in other communities and spaces and I'm wondering if has there been some specific um programs created for um that possibility for people to relocate

Uh I want to deeper understand uh uh uh the question of program for people who relocated in different villages. Yes. >> In Yeor >> uh yeah it was uh working because we uh built this project. It's a green road uh project and uh people uh move a lot of people was relocated to other eco villages in Europe. Uh and uh some of them continue to live and work uh in uh in eco villages in Europe.

And uh sometimes it was one of the gaps because uh we make uh eight years we work and we make a lot of courses. Uh it was a a village design education courses uh and we make as a certificated specialist about sociocratic uh permaculture nonviolent communication community building uh project of villages and uh and uh sometimes this relocation it was uh uh as a export of our specialist

because uh uh these networks uh in different countries take this specialist and uh they working in this uh as in F in Finhorn uh this specialist continue to work in that location. we uh make a courses to build our network but we built European network and that is the question because uh for for me uh uh it's it was uh as a we built uh as a work uh specialist to export as a transition country.

We are transition country for gen Europe. Uh it's not uh for me as a coordinator of network local network I want every time to make a stronger my network but uh we lost a best people we not lost a people who uh uh who need support. Uh we lost the people who give us a value of commons for other and uh some of them uh right now uh thinking about return and continue to work with us but uh this year uh sometimes we stay alone in this

situation and uh that is reality. Sometimes uh reality is not simple. But uh question is uh uh what you do. You continue and uh maybe some new resources and some new people continue because yes this year uh I think we some we lost uh uh new waves of people uh in in this winter. uh they move to to European countries because no electricity uh no logistic system no uh uh uh transportation system and uh it's it's

real hardship survive in this situation but I hope uh and uh my idea is to change something not thinking about program or relocation But thinking about how to invite you with your experience to Ukraine and maybe help us to make level up. That is idea. Yeah. Thank you. >> Yeah. We go to eat. Yeah.

>> Yes. >> Thank you.
