Has Bitcoin lost its digital gold status? Ran Neuner

25 Feb 2026 · 35:51

Ran Neuner, founder of Crypto Banter, tells host LG Doucet that Bitcoin was not the store of value this cycle, though he still thinks it is the better one. He ties the gold decoupling to China's role in gold demand, early holders selling to ETFs and treasury companies, and miners such as Bitdeer exiting as AI data centers compete for scarce energy. He also argues AI agents will need wallets and a currency, and flags the clash between Coinbase and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent as a risk.

The first thing is I actually do believe that Bitcoin is the best store of value in the world. I just don't think that it's the best store of value in the world this cycle. What's up everybody? It's LG here and welcome to the Milk Road Show, the daily crypto show that is bullish no matter what. No matter if we're going to 58K, 50K, 40K, 2K, whatever, we're here for the long run. Today is February 24th, 2026. We're recording on February 23rd. Things are looking shaky yet again. The majors are dipping as the week has opened red and the broader market is bracing for probably, I don't know, something like Nvidia earnings later this week. While the crypto community laments what has gone wrong, our guest today is actually calling for a lower bottom before things can maybe get rosy again. I don't know, I'm gonna ask him. And we'll also share

his positions and what he has been rotating into in this market. Ran Neer, founder of CryptoBander, is back on the show to share his outlook on the market. Today's episode is brought to you by Warbucks, the easiest way to trade crypto and some turn crypto tax chaos into confidence. Ron, what's up, man? Welcome back to the show. >> Thank you, buddy. How you doing? >> Uh, I'm good, man. But uh I feel like I'm going to be worse. >> Bullish. You're always bullish. I love it. You the show that's bullish no matter what. >> That's what we're here to do. But I feel like you've got reasons to be bearish and you're telling us we're going to 58K. Tell me about that, man. Don't to say it ain't so.

>> I mean, look, look, the 58k the the reason why I say it's I think it's pretty much inevitable if you don't mind me sharing my screen. Um absolutely. >> So if you look at uh this chart over here, this chart over here basically summarizes it, right? So what happened this weekend is that Bitcoin had a weekly close below the 200E exponential moving average or what they call the 200WE EMA. And in a 100% of the times that Bitcoin broke below the 200E EMA on the weekly, it then broke below the 200 the next stop was the 200E simple moving average. Right now that 200WE simple moving average is is one of the most probably the biggest key points uh in in in Bitcoin. And if you go to that one on the weekly and you go to the 200week

moving average, what you realize is that that level is at about 57 58,000 at the moment. Right now, how long does it take to get there? Well, it's quick. So, usually it's within one week, the same week, the same week over there, and maybe 3 weeks. So, I think in the short term, it's almost inevitable that we're going to breach that $60,000 level and get that $58,000 or $57,000 level. So yeah, I think that's that's pretty much set in set in the stars, what do you call it? >> Yeah, absolutely. But it looks like if you go back to your other chart there, uh showing a bit of a longer trend. Did we not go how long did we spend below that average in the last bare market?

Because looks like this is your weekly chart. So it looks like we were there for a couple months. >> So generally we don't actually break below it, funny enough. So if you look at the 200 week simple moving average on the weekly, we broke below it over here, which was CO. So that that that there was co and that was literally just a wick down. Let me just go back there. So that was literally just a wick down below it and then you know they started out the co problems and we went up >> in the last bare market. We actually spent quite a long time under that that 200 week moving average. But I I have to show you something here. So >> if you look at at that level over there we spent about well we spent we spent a long time under well let's say under and

above and in and out. We spent we spent a hell of a long time there. But here's the big difference. The big difference is that in the last bare market, this level was a 70% decline. So to break below the the 200week moving average, we had to decline 70%. Right? So here because we never had such a big pump in the bull market like because this bull market was I think for all intents and purposes quite disappointing, right? For us to get to the 200E moving average 200 200 week moving average that's a 50% drop.

So basically, we're saying if Bitcoin goes below 50% of its all-time high, just it's about 55%. Then we're going to get that 200E moving average. That's a a very important line in the sand. >> So yeah, so I think look, I think unfortunately in the short term right now that is probably destiny. I mean, you know, I think for for Bitcoin that level is probably programmed. I'd be very surprised if we don't hit that 200 week moving average. Everything you're listening to today is also covered in our daily crypto newsletter. And on Sundays, we even recap the best parts of the entire week's worth podcasts. So check it out at the link below.

>> But I mean that that right now, Ron, that's only another like 10 or 11% draw down from here to get there, right? It's not it's not that much more of a dip. And are you saying that we're going to go there and just kiss it and then rip back up? >> Well, no. I'm saying we're going to we're going to hit hit it. I'm not saying we're going to kiss it and go back up. I'm saying [laughter] saying I can tell you for sure not for sure but I can tell you that there's a very high probability in the next couple of days or maybe weeks we're going to hit that level. Now what happens after that? Well that depends on whether we mirror the 2020 scenario which is a kiss and back up or whether we mirror the the 2021 scenario. And by the way when you look

at at the 2021 uh correction from that level Bitcoin still declined an additional 30%. >> [clears throat] >> So from hitting that 200E moving average to hitting the bottom, we still declined an additional 30%. Now the difference between 2021 and 2026 is in 2021 we knew why we were collapsing. It was a deleveraging event. It was it was FTX, it was the Capital, it was Celsius, it was Luna, sorry, Luna, Celsius, etc. We knew exactly what was happening and it was a massive crypto unwind. Right?

Today when you ask people what's going on and why Bitcoin is crashing, the truth is that no one can give you an answer, right? No one knows. The best answers that I've heard are something broke on October October 10th and maybe and maybe I kind of agree. Uh uh quantum computing, that's the that's the the other answer. Uh uh Bitcoin failed as a store of value, right? And so there's there's a whole lot of of of reasons, but no one can quite tell you why this asset is is crashing. And that's I think that's where the point of pain is here is that all the other markets in the world are running. Commodities are running like crazy. I mean, I'm just looking at the gold price, $5,200. I'm

looking at the silver price, $87. Stock markets are at all-time highs. And then you have this one asset that's not at all time highs. Now, I can tell you what I think is going on, but it doesn't it doesn't uh uh unfortunately it doesn't sol it doesn't tell you why Bitcoin is where it is today. >> What do you think is going on? What do you what do you personally think is is if you had to point pin [clears throat] it on one reason, you're probably giving me a cocktail, but what is the most important reason, let's say, for why we we've seen this happen in the last four or five months? >> So, there was a decoupling between gold and Bitcoin at some point. If you look at the gold chart and you look at the Bitcoin chart, they perfectly correlated until October 10th. And then on October

10th, what you get is if you put up my screen again, I'll actually show you. So that's October 10th and Bitcoin starts going down. And at the same time, if you go here and you say, okay, well, let's look let's look at what happened to gold on October 10th. Well, gold actually continues to accelerate. So October 10th is somewhere around there. So gold actually continues to accelerate. And so they they get what Ra Paul calls the alligator. And I think that that's what actually broke Bitcoin, right? So >> why? Because Bitcoin started as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system. It failed. The reason why it failed as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system is because the block sizes weren't big enough. The transactions were too expensive and it wasn't fast enough. So Bitcoin is not cash. Then we had the narrative, oh well, it's not cash,

therefore it's a store of value. Okay. Well, if it's a store of value, then it's got to be better than gold. And it is better than gold because it's limited by by mathematics not by you know mining. It is transportable, it is nonseasable, etc., etc., etc. However, when the people actually got scared, they went for the store of value, the real store of value, which was gold, right? And that is what broke Bitcoin this cycle because people realized if it's not cash and it's not a store of value, then what is it? And that's the problem with Bitcoin. Bitcoin's lost without a narrative at the moment, right? I can't put a hand on my heart

and tell my friends to invest in Bitcoin right now because just think think of yourself as a Black Rockck advisor or as a investment manager and you're meeting a family office and they say to you, "Cool, we want to invest in this. We want to invest. What would what should we invest in?" If you tell them, "Hey, why don't you invest in Bitcoin?" They're going to say to you, "Cool, why should we?" And you say, "Well, it's a" and then that's the problem. You don't know what it is anymore. It's not cash. It's not a store of value. So then what is it? And I think that's the problem because remember to to get people to invest in something like you say to them like I'm looking at a company called IBRX. IBRX I told some people to invest in it. They

said why? I said oh they just they may have just found a cure for cancer. Ah there's a good why. There's a good reason for me to invest. If you say to him, "Hey guys, invest in Bitcoin." Why? It's not a great store of value. It's not cash. I don't know. I don't know what that line is anymore, right? And if you don't have if you don't know what that line is, then there's no reason for anyone to invest in it. Now, let me let me take it a step further for you. So, it's not a store of value anymore. Now, here's another problem. This this came from a tweet today by I'm going to try just track quickly. Okay. So I want you to call up that tweet. That's a tweet in from Woo Blockchain. It says Bitier, the mining company owned by Jihan Woo,

announced that its Bitcoin holdings have been reduced to zero and all of the Bitcoin holdings have been sold. Bitier self-managed Bitcoin hash rate making it publicly traded. So what is this uh what is this announcement right? >> They have sold every single one of their Bitcoin. Now why is this announcement so significant? Who is Bitier? Bit is owned by a guy called Jihan Wu. Who's G Jihan Woo? Jihan Wu is effectively the inventor of the ASIC. So I don't know if you remember but in the old days used to buy AS6. Not not the inventor but used to buy the AS6 from a company called Bitmain.

[clears throat] Bitmain is Jon Woo. Now why are they exiting? Quite simply there is a worldwide shortage of energy at the moment. The biggest problem, the biggest shortage in the world today is energy, right? And the problem is that in the old days, people used to mine Bitcoin because they had surplus energy. So, states, countries, companies used to mine Bitcoin because they kind of said, "Look, we've got this excess energy. We really have nothing to do with this excess energy. We can we can offer it to Bitcoin miners or mine Bitcoin ourselves and we can make this thing called Bitcoin." It was in a very very very good investment. The problem is that today AI is between depending on where

you are, AI is between six and nine times six and 9x more lucrative, right? And so the miners are kind of going, hold on a second, why should we keep the A6 plugs plugged in when we can just turn this in the use the same energy and turn it into a mining data center, right? So that's the problem that Bitcoin has right now. It has no narrative. No one knows what it is. And if you don't know what something is, there's no reason for you to buy it. And that's right now that's the problem. >> So you're telling me basically that when it decoupled from gold, because gold has a has a narrative, right, of you know, banks are buying it and the world's uncertain and getting away from us. It has a million different things to say

about it, but that when that decoupling happened that Bitcoin lost that narrative and that was the only narrative going for it in the last couple years basically, right? That was it. >> Yeah. And let me tell you, let me tell you what happened. Let me tell you why that happened, right? So why did gold go up in value so much? What was the I mean what is the reason that gold started to spike so much? Who was buying it? China, right? If you look at all the things the people the people's bank of China were the biggest buyers of gold. Now what is Bitcoin is banned in China, right? So you have the people's bank of China with this bid for gold buying gold like crazy and so gold becomes the de facto store of value in China. Right? At the same time, China is dumping US treasuries. I

mean, that's a that's a well-known fact. I don't have the data in front of me, but China is dumping uh uh uh US treasuries. So, China is selling dollars, dumping the dollar, dumping buying gold, right? And the problem is that in China, buying Bitcoin is in inverted comm is effectively banned. I mean, I know that some people do it, but effectively Chinese people can't buy Bitcoin. And that turned gold back into the ultimate store of value. And Bitcoin is not in the is not in the ring. It's not in the race anymore in this cycle. Right? If you go to people now and you say to them, "What are the best stores of value in the cycle?" They'll probably say something like gold, silver, copper, stocks. And I don't know how many

people, even crypto people, will put their hand on their heart and say that in this cycle, gold is Bitcoin's been a store of value. Probably none. Probably none. >> Definitely not ETH. They definitely can't say that about ETH. [laughter] >> Definitely none of the cryptos. >> Well, listen, Ron, here's a question for you. You guys are named, you guys are called CryptoBanter. You were um you know, you noted that I said we're we're we're pretty kind of perma bullish here in the intro. I think you did tweet the other day saying you're not going to start streaming about commodities or AI or anything like that. So, what are you guys doing? What do you what do you guys what do you guys still see in crypto that's keeping you here and keeping your business here?

>> Okay, so um great question. The first thing is I actually do believe that Bitcoin is the best store of value in the world. I just don't think that it's the best store of value in the world this cycle. Now, let me explain to you why. How long has Bitcoin been institutionalized for? Bitcoin's been institutionalized for exactly one year, one and a half years, right? That was when the ETF was approved and people actually got uh uh uh the opportunity to buy into Bitcoin, right? It is impossible that one year after an asset becomes institutionalized without the correct regulation legislation that it will become the de facto store of value that the world relies on. Right? So I think Bitcoin is going through a very interesting dynamic at the moment. On

the one hand the VCs which is the early early early investors in Bitcoin are basically exiting Bitcoin and on the other hand the people that are buying Bitcoin are this new breed of ETFs, treasury companies, etc. etc. So the early investors are selling, the new investors are buying. I think that they are buying it because they believe that Bitcoin is a store of value and they and and I think everyone should believe that Bitcoin is a store of value. It just wasn't a store of value in this cycle because it was too young and because the conditions that created that that cemented gold as a store of value in this cycle were the China phenomena and Bitcoin is banned in China. However, it doesn't mean that technologically and mathematically Bitcoin isn't a better

store of value. And I still believe in the original thesis that it is a better store of value. I just believe that in this cycle, we got caught off guard and Bitcoin was too young for it to be the defector store of value. Now, in order to be a store of value, the problem is that you need to get the momentum as a store of value. So, you get the network effect. The more people think you're a store of value, the more people buy you, therefore, the more the price goes up. Therefore, more the more people think you're a store of value. Bitcoin didn't have that unfortunately, right? Because it was too young. And in the race for the store of value, gold wins this round. Now, do I think that gold will win will win round four and and round five? No. I think Bitcoin is very very

much in the race. I just think that it didn't happen this cycle. And so, I kind of think that, you know, that saying that was, you know, we're still early. I actually think we're still early. If you think if you believe that Bitcoin is a store of value, then I actually think we're still early. Uh if that's your thesis. Now, so that's my first thesis. The second thesis is well, we're about to move into a an economy which you and I can't even comprehend. Okay. So, let me let me explain the rationality the rationale behind it.

In about 12 to 24 months, I believe that each one of us is going to have multiple AI agents working for us, doing multiple jobs. I've already got two. One that manages my my my personal life, my diary, my flights, my check-ins, my stuff like that, and one that manages my crypto research and whatever else. Those are two AI agents that I have, and they are and that's excluding ChachPT, Claude, and and all the other models that I actually work with on a day-to-day basis. Those are just two employees that I have in my office in a uh in running on little Mac machines.

Now, I believe that very soon there are going to be millions and maybe even billions of these AI agents. And these AI agents are going to perform transactions every day all day and they're going to perform microtransactions the kind which we've never ever ever had before. Right? And they're going to perform like micro mic microtransactions. I can't even explain to you how small these transactions are going to be. Now, the thing with that is that I think that we are about to enter a new type of economy that is that is so exponentially bigger than the last economy that we can't even comprehend it. It would be like going to a person

in the old days when there was coal and saying to them, "You won't believe it. We got this thing called electricity and you you won't believe the difference that electricity is going to make in the world." and then expecting them to understand social media and where we are today. It's just impossible, right? Like it's just it's impossible. Now, I think we're going through one of those things right now. And here's the here's the good news. I've racked my brain a thousand times. What other rails can these agents use to transact other than crypto? Can they use the banking system?

Absolutely not. Has Visa got any real patents? Yes, they do. but they're blockchain patents. So, everyone knows and everyone acknowledges that the new economy is going to be run on blockchain. It's the it is the only way that that that a 100red billion agents who don't know each other and don't trust each other can transact with immediate settlement. There is no other technology on earth that can do that. Okay. So, my blockchain thesis remains very very very much intact. Even if Bitcoin fails and goes to zero, which is highly improbable, probably I won't say impossible, but highly improbable. I am so bullish on crypto and crypto technology, crypto trading agents trading value with one another

with immediate settlement on blockchain rails that this I think this industry is the best industry in the world to be in at the moment. It's it's the finance of the AI agent economy and that and the AI agent economy is exponentially bigger than human economy to to the field to the level that no human can understand. We we can't even be we we can't even begin to fathom how big this this this this economy is going to be. And no matter which way you look at it, every agent's going to need to have a wallet. Every agent's going to need to have a private key. Every agent's going to need to do transactions on multiple chains.

And that's the crypto rails that are currently being built. [clears throat] Then there's a third a third a third thing. Now again the third thing is probably a long shot. It's it's probably a very very very much a long shot. But hear me out on this. Right now Trump Bessant and a whole lot of other people have seen it and they want the US dollar to be the de facto currency of the digital economy. They see it. That's why they did the Genius Act. That's why in the Genius Act they said that if you buy dollars you have to back them with US treasury. You have to back them with US treasuries. And that's why they rushed to pass the Genius Act because they realized that the bigger this agentic economy grows the more demand there'll be for US dollars and the more demand

for US dollars the more demand there'll be for US treasuries if they put the right regulation legislation in place. And they did that. But problem is that at some point China, Russia, Turkey, the BRICS countries are going to say, "Hold on a second. We don't really want this currency to be the currency of the digital economy." Okay. Well, we need to find a neutral currency that no one that no one controls. Okay. Now, what is that currency? So, are they going to start a new online digital currency? Is it going to be a competition between the yuan and the dollar? or is everyone just going to adopt Bitcoin and say, you know what, the currency of the agentic economy is actually Bitcoin and and the agents I've seen agents transacting on the lightning

network. And so there is this this is like by far by far by far a long shot, but it's a possibility is that one day Bitcoin actually becomes the currency of the digital economy just like the dollar was the currency of the physical of the physical world. And you know, that's another thesis that that's worth investing in. So that's my that's my the that's my theory. That's why I'm still here because I still believe very very very much in the crypto thesis. The more AI heats up and [snorts] everyone says to me you should pivot to AI, the more I answer them, I am in AI. I'm just in AI finance. Uh that's that's what I do. I'm just an you know I'm I I deal in AI finance which is how the AIs eventually land up transacting with one another.

I do want to ask you about your positions always time, but one question before that I have for you, Ron, and and this is a question I've been asking a lot of guests both on this show and on and on our separate AI podcast. Why would the agentic economy use Bitcoin or any chain that currently exists? That's my main question is that I don't really understand Bitcoin with all its flaws that agents are going to go and listen to podcasts like this and realize that, hey, like why would I use this? Why wouldn't they just spin up their own chain that they can use? The agents are mainly owned by owners. Like I own agents, you own agents, etc., etc., right? And so the owners are going to say to them, look, you need to you're going to get a money in your wallet and

I'm going to have claim to the money in your wallet. You need to travel in a currency that that I understand. So the currency has to have network effects. Today, the biggest currency with network effects is the US dollar, right? That's the currency that has the biggest network effects in the world. What's the biggest currency that has network effects in the digital world? >> Bitcoin. >> Bitcoin. >> Simple. So, you know, like again, I don't know if all the agents are going to transact in Bitcoin. I'm just saying, right, the US has seen it. They saw the light. And why do you think the US want to make the US the crypto capital of the world? They've seen that the agentic economy is going to need a currency. And they want the US dollar to be that currency. And so that's why they why are

they rushing to get the the clarity why are they rushing to get the Clarity Act done? Why did they rush and get the Genius Act done? One, because they want to cement the dollar as the currency of the digital economy. Two, because they want people to buy more US treasuries to buy the US debt. Because if you force people to buy the US debt, it's the only way that the US can sustain a $38 trillion deficit or a debt. And that's why they're rushing to get this through. How many times have you heard Scott Bessent on this thing saying, "We have to get the Clarity Act passed. We have to get the Clarity Act passed. Both sides must compromise." Why? Because he's head of the Treasury. And if he's head of the if he if he's if if he's head of the Treasury, he has to look

after the Treasury. And the Treasury has has a $ 38 billion a trillion dollar deficit. So he's [snorts] seen the light and [clears throat] he know that he knows the rate of of of of of progression of AI. So yeah, I I don't I mean I believe that it's got to be one of the currencies we have currently to be honest. Mhm. [clears throat] And that clarity act back off a cliff today on poly market. Dip back below 45% after riding above around 75% last week but slowly trickling back up. So we'll wait and see on that one. >> Something happened over the weekend. I don't know what it was. I know I was in Mara Lago last week and you know I know there was a big meeting that was supposed to happen this weekend and obviously what happened in that meeting you know you know why I love poly market

because poly market tells you all the inside information before it happens and then the insiders who were there or who heard or whatever started trading it on poly market and that's that's that's pretty much what happened. >> Well I mean state of the union is tomorrow I guess or the day after so maybe there's maybe there's some uh that's been prepared for what's going to be said so we'll be watching that. Um, Ron, before we run out of time, I do want to ask you, you tweeted about how you recently liquidated and kind of rotated into, I believe, 11 positions, and I'm sure people can find this content on Cryptobanter as well. Tell us about that, man. The whole thesis you've given us now, what's the play?

>> So, I think that we could be in for quite a long bare market because because because bare markets generally, you know, if we follow the four-ear cycle, bare markets are usually quite long and quite painful. Most tokens don't actually come out the other side. So, what I want to do is I want to have maximum exposure to crypto, but I don't want to I I I I don't I can't afford risk. So, I can't be holding any of the rats and mice. And so, I've got to hold things that I know for sure will be here in the next cycle, right? So, I rotated into 11 positions and I I don't want to give away all the content. And you can go and find the content on on my channel, Crypto Insider, which is Banter's sister channel, where I just do shows, where I

just do shows. Um, but >> effectively the biggest holding that I'm holding right now is actually, funny enough, for the first time in my life, not Bitcoin. Guess what it is? My biggest holding. >> Is it Is it a Is it a token or is it a stock? >> It's a stock. >> Is it a crypto stock? There's like questions. >> Coinbase. >> It's Coinbase. >> Yeah. Why? >> Because Milk like that. I don't know which token is going to which tokens are going to be quantum resistant and which ones aren't. I don't know I don't know which which tokens are going to make it and which ones aren't. But one thing I know for sure is that when they do they're going to trade them on Coinbase.

And so yeah, I think the one risk to Coinbase, it's a very it's a very big risk is that right now Brian Armstrong is banging heads with Scott Bessant. So Scott Bessent, I don't know if you remember this, but he hinted that Brian Armstrong, if he doesn't want to come to the party when it comes to the declarity act, he should go to a Salvador. I don't know if you you remember that that speech that it was it went quite viral on Twitter. And I think Scott Besson's the kind of guy that you don't [ __ ] with. Like you do not mess with Scott Bessant, right? And Brian Armstrong is effectively going headto-head with him.

And that's one of the risks to Coinbase because you know you know if you go against the wrong people in in the right places then you know you know how it is bad things can happen to you. So I'm keeping a very close eye on that. Um you know that said as I say Coinbase is definitely right now my biggest position by far. >> Why would you go into something like Robin Hood? >> I'm also in Robin Hood but just not as big. And Robin Hood is on it definitely is on that list. Robin Hood is the Robin Hood is the retail flows and Robin Hood is a great representation of of velocity of trading in a market. However, Coinbase has custodian services.

Coinbase has the base chain which is which could very well be the agentic chain of crypto. Coinbase have uh um staking services, you know. So like like Robin Hood's great if you want retail flows and you and you want high velocity trading and stuff like that. I'm a big fan of Robin Hood and I own a a massive position in it, but you can't compare that position to the position that I have in Coinbase, which is probably the most diversified crypto proxy business in the world. [clears throat] >> What else? What else? What how else are you positioning, Ron?

>> So, that's it. I mean, I'm positioning quite defensively at the moment. Um, I've chosen 11. Again, I I don't want to to say too much if anyone >> That's all right. >> Yeah. I think it just it just makes for a for a very interesting uh uh watch. Um by the way, um so you that and then the second thing that I'm spending a lot of time on is um I realized that you and I are getting replaced by AI. And so I decided to invest in replacing us with AI. And so [clears throat] a lot of my time is spent building uh AI influences and you know in the in the crypto niche.

We started with one in the crypto niche. And I actually want to show you something if you if you'll if you'll allow me for a second again. >> I'm excited. Yeah. Tell me how I'll be replaced. Please tell me. >> So, let me show you. Let me show you how you're going to be replaced. And then and then tell me if if if you think I'm being dramatic or not. So, that's a channel we we created a bunch of AI influencers and initially we created them and if you just share my screen um initially we created them as like these perfect AI influencers and etc etc. And then what we did was we said we realized that the reason why AI influencers aren't successful is they're too perfect. And so what we did was we created an AI influencer. He's a bot. We

gave him a name and we gave him a story. The story is he grew up here. He used to work for PayPal. He has a dog. He has a girlfriend. He has a he has a real story. And we asked him to make content. So first he started making this kind of content. Okay. So, he started making that kind of content and it was really good content and then we put him and let him do an interview with a real host. So, we wanted to [laughter] what happens if we put an AI with a real host and and look what happened. Just I want to show you what happened.

Mhm. [clears throat] >> Did you guys cut this or did did you get a program to cut this? >> There was some There was some editing done by us. It It wasn't 100% edited by AI, but all the scripting and all the talking and all the questions are AI. So, it's not like we we typed the questions, he spoke the questions. He came up with the questions. Okay. And [clears throat] then we let him run loose again. And this is where my mind got blown. So he came up with a script of how Trump destroyed Bitcoin. Okay, [clears throat] this is the research that he did. He came out with a script of how Trump destroyed Bitcoin. And then we okay, we said, "Okay, well, like we

brought basically ran the script and we were flawed. Like I I'll show you the beginning of this. It'll blow your mind." >> All right, let's see. >> The bull run is dead. [screaming] collapse to Biden era prices >> and Donald Trump. >> Yeah, no [ __ ] I don't think Biden was in the gladiator or in the gladiator times. This is awesome >> because the crypto president was a Trojan horse.

Trump sold everyone on the dream, then used this to extract billions and ultimately broke the Bitcoin narrative entirely. Watch this. >> Is this the whole video or does he does he do a podcast at one point or is it just gladiator film? [music] >> Oh, here we go. Game of Thrones, Winter's Coming motif.

So, this is like a whole Roman era film >> featuring Jack and he's a peasant. I feel like I'm I'm playing Age of Empires 3 or something. >> What is it? It's down. >> We're still holding it. The memecoin warning. >> Yes, >> the memecoin. It's a scam. >> Where is he now? [laughter] >> It all began just before the inauguration.

>> You're so proud of this, Ron. Because if you knew if you knew what was going on in the background, like this is an AI creating its own deciding what videos to make and then for all intents and purposes making its own videos like >> you you get like how like it's not look there is some human intervention there. I'll be honest, that's not press one button and makes but I'm just saying like it's amazing to see how the how how how these AI like how fast the world is moving with this AI. So you ask me what's keeping me busy. That's pretty much what's keeping me busy. Building these AI influences that that can can convey news in a way that or convey

things in the way that people actually uh you know relate to it. >> That is so funny, man. Well, good for you guys. Uh Rod, let's wrap up, man. Thank you for sharing that tidbit. I didn't expect that at all on this show. So, thank you for showing showing that. And I appreciate somebody who's always pushing the envelope. Uh looking for new ways to to make content as a as a content creator. I really appreciate that. So, great to have you on, man. Great to meet you. >> For you guys as I mean, keep being bullish. I love your content. Uh I'm glad that there's a lot of other people that that that are that remain here. I know a lot of people have left this industry, are leaving, are turning it down. And I think it's a, you know, Bitcoin is energy. And in the last bare

market, even though it was a bare market, the one thing that Bitcoin had was huddle, buy the dip, uh, buy now, buy low. And I think there's very few of us that are still here and still protecting the energy that that is around this industry. So, I think, uh, yeah, well done to you guys for keeping up the good fight alongside us. >> Oh, we're here, man. We are here. Maybe we'll make our own influencer as well at some point. Somebody who who can keep it going. uh even when we're a little bit tired. Thanks for sharing, man. Good to see you. >> Thank you very much.
