Pessimists Archive is his project cataloging historical media panic over new inventions, from bicycles to the telephone to the internet, and the recurring pattern it documents of predictions that fail to materialize. The talk applies that documented pattern of technological skepticism to how cryptocurrency and Ethereum are received today.
