Foundations for Building Network States

Name: Foundations for Building Network States
Duration: 30 min
Description: Paul Kohlhaas lays out foundational thinking for building network states, internet-native communities that pool resources and eventually seek territorial or diplomatic recognition. At Zuzalu Montenegro 2023, a gathering built around testing that idea in practice, he examines what governance, funding, and coordination structures a nascent network state actually needs to hold together.
