ETHStaker Community Updates: Super-Friends Podcasts, Rocket Pool BETA, and Community Calls

hello my fellow eastakers today is friday march 19th 2021 i'm invitica.eth and this is your community update jumping right into it i want to discuss the latest episode of mapping out eath 2.0 now this is a podcast typically hosted by christine kim will foxley and ben edgington will foxley wasn't present on this episode but who was that's right our very own superfiz was the latest guest on this episode and i highly recommend checking this out it was an incredible listen superfiz goes on to discuss how the east acre community came about how it was founded the role that the east acre community plays within the larger

ethereum ecosystem and then goes into specifics on initiatives coming out of the east acre community mainly the stake house one-click installer the eddc and the ethereum studymaster program superfiz has incredible knowledge within this industry and uh it would be within your best interest to listen to this he provides incredible insights no matter where he's talking whether it's state of the state mapping out ethereum 2.0 or any of the other platforms that he's been seen on the direct link to this podcast is in the description of this video not to be outdone our very own patricio

warthalter the co-founder of po-op was recently seen on the latest episode of the bright id community call this was just posted on the bright id youtube channel the direct link to this episode is also in the description of this video again this is a great watch we get to see patricio in his patented uh poe-op jacket but more importantly him discussing again sort of the history of po-op how it came about and uh provides some insights into where po-op is going and the role that they fill within the ethereum ecosystem this is something i'm actually very excited about this is the

rocket pool 3.0 this is their final beta before the platform launches this is a really big deal now all of the insights on what they're trying to accomplish is in this blog post i will link to that yes the beta has already started however it's not too late to to participate it's definitely worth your while to look into if not just to learn from an educational standpoint on what rocket pool is and how they function and just how incredibly easy it is it's so easy it's unbelievable in fact i think we'll probably cover this in the validated workshop on the 27th of march hosted by the east e-staker community

one thing i do want to point out is the rpl giveaway details they're further incentivizing the beta test by awarding rpl tokens to the best operators within the beta the full breakdown and details to that again are on the blog post i will link to that in the description one thing i do want to point out here is and i can't stress this enough yes the beta has started no it is not too late to participate this is going to go on for quite a few weeks a lot can happen within that time frame so please please look into that if you're even remotely interested now what the heck is rockapool if you don't know one of our good good friends coming out of the east acre community

logic beach has made a fantastic introduction series explaining exactly what rocket pool is how it functions and what role it plays within the greater ethereum ecosystem the direct link to his video explanation series will be in the description of this video both of these things are great things to check out if you're one unfamiliar with rocketpool or two just want to learn more about things happening within ethereum this is a great one to learn on and moving right along i do want to remind our east acre community of tomorrow's e-stake or community call number 17 where we discuss the ethon eth2 merge and everything surrounding it this will

april we have uh the east acre community is hosting the berlin hard fork party on april 16th now if you want more information on the berlin hard fork i highly recommend checking out ethernodes.org slash berlin i will link that directly to the and here you can track the countdown to the hard fork along with uh pools participating within that hard fork and when they're ready i'll also link to the ethereum.org website blog post where they specifically go over uh the details of the berlin hard fork and last but certainly not least we have e-staker git coin grants that i want to

discuss if you aren't familiar with these we have four open git coin grants coming out of the east acre community that is the eddc or the ethereum due diligence committee the ethereum studymaster platform the stakehouse one-click installer and of course our very own e-staker community grant all of these have been actively contributed to and i actually want to take this time and personally thank all of the contributors of not just the ethereum studymaster but all of these grants you don't have to contribute to any of these grants and you have shown love and support to these platforms and we just want to wholeheartedly thank you for
