foreign what's going on guys welcome back to live from ECC here today with my my guy Arjun from mantle who has just launched their layer 2 live yesterday I made a big splash here at ECC of course we are the roll-up we are excited to be supporting this initiative and getting tons of new projects onto mantle um without further Ado just want to give a brief intro to connect connect is launching there or has launched their uh a chain abstraction toolkit which allows dapps to onboard users to any chain uh very easily very seamlessly and also connects does not use any sort of other

any sort of trust assumptions or external validator sets in their bridging technology so if you want a bridge from different Roll-Ups or from different chains you can do so trustlessly with the same level of security as ethereum now without further Ado we're going to dive into what makes mantle special what Arjun is excited about and what's going on over there so uh yeah GM margin and um how you feeling after the big day and the big push yeah it's been it has been a pretty wild day yesterday I've kind of also kind of lost my voice uh talking to everybody at the booth yeah now it's back so so yeah so uh you know while my voice has gone for a toss no no down time on

the network it's it's going really smooth um we've got great feedback and support from the community as well so I think it's uh it's it's going really well I think over the next few days are crucial for us because we want to be able to um onboard and on-ramp as many users as possible as quickly as possible at the same time you know so many dabs are reaching out to us saying that they want to work with us they want to deploy on mantle um so obviously simultaneously while we're at ECC and we're having you know all of these different events here we want to ensure that you know our teams are continuously on top of everything um so operationally there's like a lot of stuff which we need to solve over the next few weeks so like I was just saying that you know while we're obviously very

happy that the network is launched uh this is just the beginning and uh so much more is is due for us and many more exciting announcements to be made in the weeks to come so stay tuned um and uh and yeah like very happy that uh that you know all the support we've got from the community was really surprised like when I was walking down the street people are stopping me they're like oh you work with metal you know your network is live let's let's like you know yeah I had the math shirt on yesterday all day just wrapping mantle just because it was like celebration for the uh launch and everybody's coming up to me like yo you work with men so this and this and this and this and I'm like well no but I'm I'm just celebrating right and so it was

a good vibe and yeah there was a lot of recognition so I think you guys made a good Splash on the kind of comms and marketing side which kind of speaks to what you were telling me yesterday about some of the unique unique aspects of what makes um you know the ecosystem very uh you know I I guess what what makes the ecosystem big in terms of potential for growth and that kind of marketing and Community side all right so that's an interesting question right so what makes us different I would just answer that in like two ways so in terms of Technology uh you know we built a modular stack using the op uh code base and we believe in the modular chain thesis we've gone live with eigenlayer for our data availability

um the solution so so we're able to have like higher throughput lower costs um and you know if you if you sort of operate or Deploy on the network you'll kind of see the see the difference um with respect to the ecosystem I think that's what really makes mantleware unique um uh because number one mantle was born out of a Dao vote so we are sort of a Community First Chain by decentralized um you know the team is distributed across the globe so it's a very sort of uh um kind of you could say a team which has people from all all parts of the globe and and and what that means is that we're able to sort of really bring different facets to the community I would not say that we're attribute an American chain or we're like like Asian chain essentially I would say that you

know truly Global chain and even if you meet the team members you'll see like even at ECC it's it's kind of a mix of people from everywhere and I think that's that DNA kind of translates into you know how we execute and how we operate um like I said man was born out of a Dao vote now every major decision we take for the chain goes through a proposal and a Dao board process so the community is truly in charge of this train um we also have access to a big pool of liquidity in the Dao right so a bit Tao has been rebranded to mantle governance we've got over about two billion dollars on chain which we can mobilize um to build out the ecosystem we have our own Exchange um where you know we can list tokens we have a deep partnership with by bit so

we can take a developer or a team all the way from zero to Grants to Investments and all the way to listing um which makes us truly unique in this ecosystem that you can have this one place where we can solve all the way from zero to distribution to Max distribution so so I think uh this is I think something which many developers and everybody finds very compelling uh because it's something which which is a very unique Advantage a competitive Advantage as one might say but it's also nearly impossible to replicate and and that's kind of why we're very confident about you know our ability to uh you know ramp up and and get master option yeah no doubt I mean beta has got I think the biggest treasury in D5 like you said 2 billion which is phenomenal to kind of have that backing

right and then you can kind of provide teams and devs BD people marketing comms people with just a really nice road map right you can almost replicate the process for each team and once you get that systemization down to a t right you can take a a new team from being just a native Dex or native Landing marker or a native X Y and Z protocol and take them all the way to like a blue chip project on mantle with deep text liquidity and centralized exchange liquidity and a huge Community I mean you guys have hundred thousand followers on on um you know Twitter on across on Discord telegram so yeah you know I definitely agree with those points um yeah and I'm curious how you guys

over the next couple weeks uh to a couple months how you plan to really uh utilize those connections uh that that Community um you know if you've got anything exciting in the works sure uh so I think one of the things that you teased a lot has been our Liquors taking derivatives platform so if you see our treasury we have about 270 000 each um which we want to mobilize and sort of if we can create if you can sort of let's say liquid stake of this eth on the eat chain not only are we securing ethereum but we're also generating yield which we can use for ecosystem incentives so it's sort of something which works for the entire ecosystem and we can also build utility for our native token as well um so so essentially uh so so the Dao is a product focused out uh beta was a more

of an investment focused but mantle Dao or mantle governance is going to be a product focused hour where we will continue to create new products which both augment our ability uh to grow the ecosystem um also there's a huge Focus from our side on Native projects so we want more and more uh we want to be able to build our own Blue Chip projects like you were saying because we have the liquidity and we have the exchange um so a big focus on Native projects a big focus on creating like a very um you know interesting kind of community um and uh and you know we want to see all the new Innovations uh go live on mantle first um talking about Community I think 100 right that like we have a large community as well so it's not just mantle but it's mantle it's also the

bitter Community the Investments beta made like game seven um and and Edge it out then you know there's by bear there's also Mirana Ventures The Venture arm of Bible you know which is an LP in like all major funds like Anna mocha or dragonfly Pantera so if you really think about our community it's it's a it's a very large community of Builders a very large community of users a very large community of Traders a very large community of investors like in every every sort of aspect of the community we've we've we've you know we've got a large like presence um and I think like over the next few weeks I think like like I was explaining earlier what we really need to do is is sort of uh just just sort of

double down on our ecosystem first thinking double down on our ecosystem first sort of execution um and and help developers help Builders you know get more liquidity into the chain and do all the different things which can help dab succeed because there's a platform if the dab succeeds then we automatically succeed so that's kind of our plan yeah yeah I mean it seems like the tools are there for the success and building on on top of the op stack really makes a concrete it solidifies your position with devs it's an easy transition for them uh it's not something that they're not used to right and it's also an easy understanding for marketers and for BD people and for

security and auditing firms as well who who can audit dap code understand kind of the backing of this so yeah I think I think on the right track there and really looking forward to seeing some of that dap growth like like you're saying I think you know if if we could get a couple killer dapps on on mantle that'll drive more growth and really anything else so looking forward 100 I think creating a tech stack which which is easy for developers to build on was super important which is kind of why we went with the op stack which is like widely used we see so many chains now launching the op stack um and also uh you know eigenlayer you know was was also a preferred choice for us because again it's a it's a mature solution it's it's live and again it comes from a very ethereum first kind of

modality it's interesting that if you see the cello proposal for building an L2 is literally exactly what we built so much so that I tweeted saying that you know if you guys need some help you can exchange notes you know because we built exactly exactly what you proposed um so so I think that's a big how do you say a stamp of approval I feel in some sense you know from the community that our Tech stack is legit um and easy for developers so yeah so and coinbase too man base I mean it doesn't really get much more you know bang than that 100 I would say that you know because we have data availability and base doesn't I would dare say that you're better yeah I think we are ahead on the development curve is how I'd like to put it um but but it's good to see like more

teams building model of blockchains I think that was something which is a core philosophy of us from a builder standpoint and uh and and like you were just saying like right now we just want to focus a lot more on adoption on on Native apps um and then you know start building those blue ships so it's going to be a slow Journey for us um but but we're in it for the long run um so we want to take it one step at a time and and as we continue to progress then we'll be able to build bigger and better and sort of serve the community in in the best way possible yeah much love thank you Arjun for your time and congrats on the successful launch and some and some wise words here today sir all right thank you so much for having me man really appreciate it
