[music] >> Very well.

Welcome to EIP editing office hour meeting number 95. Uh this has been added as a issue number 1994 on ethereum /PM GitHub repository. We are joined by Sam Wilson. On agenda we have PRs for final review, miscellaneous, and draft. We'll get to each one of them. Um just want to quickly check. Sam, can you hear us? Okay, no response. It means he is having some trouble with audio.

Okay, so it seems like there is some audio issue. So, Sam would be joining back momentarily. We are joined by um one of the EIP authors as well. So, first we'll take a look into the proposals moving into final and then we get to the particular proposals. So, if you have any queries, we can get them addressed. I don't know, Akash, if you could play some music in the background.

But, yeah, we hope to be starting soon. While we waiting,

I wonder if anyone has any question that can be answered, or else Akashi, if you can play the intro music for some time so the audience on online can have some fun while we are waiting on editor to rejoin. >> [music] >> Some?

>> Thank [music] you. >> Thank you.

>> Perfect. So on agenda we have a proposals to move into final review some miscellaneous proposals as well as some to be merged as draft. Um We are also joined by one of the um PR author. Uh Sam, if you would like to maybe start with the the final proposals because the PR author's proposal is in the review status so we can get there after this one. Thank you.

>> Are you quiet, Sam, or we are not able to hear you? Just want to make sure. No. I don't hear anything. >> Next we can move on to the review

proposal and we are joined by author for proposal 1608 uh PR number 1608. Sam, we can't hear anything if you are speaking at all. It looks like Sam um has dropped with the audio input. I guess he also tried to join with phone.

Maybe we should wait for a couple of minutes if he can join back. Okay. It's not working today. Sam, then we can make use of chat if there is any. Um okay. If you are not able to hear us, then Okay, maybe we can go with this next. If this would work.

Yeah, I see you back online, Sam, with phone. Yeah. Okay, perfect. >> yeah. Or see if it [music] disconnects again. It probably will. I don't know. I mean, we can hear you loud and clear. No, no, I know. It's just when my phone goes to sleep, it disconnects me, which is not exactly useful. Um Yeah, it did. Yeah. So, I just keep you awake. Yeah. No. Okay, well, anyways, let's keep this open. Hopefully it won't die. Yeah. >> All right. Moving on. Uh next is the PR number 1608.

1608. [music] Look at this. All right. Okay. 16. Let's have a bit of being in this.

Too many comments to check in at the door at a time. So, and tone. And that looks good. >> verification class.

Yeah, here they are. National guideline here. So, I think And then Yeah, okay. Perfect. They have the branch that I asked for. Awesome. Verification request number >> That's the mission of the parameters. Balance of payments [music] and securities market.

Let's see. Yes. It's a >> Explain that. You got my OS this far everyone. Now let's take a look at it.

Yeah, there's no [music] nothing here. means That's 450 cents. So

Oh. There's the original 20 seconds to give you 70 minutes of that. Must have been a fair amount. Sometimes [music] it's like I don't know if it's this like that. Difficult to play with this one. It's difficult [music] to play with this.

Thank you. This is fun. Notification to one out of the gas station because they're very friendly. So, that [music] is fine. And the revolution that is something that is the same situation that we are required. And that. That's the noise. We have my ear and What's the name of all these? It's good. And this is for the ass.

Put the phone. Uh Fine. definitely good again. First of all, this is for [music] the

special characters. No cans. Looks like that cases. That looks good. That was a reference from the ground That's a Looks like a reference into the fan. And this is considered the perfect one. you leave. that's You're all fine, um

I was wondering if you have any further question on this one. Or is it good? >> Yeah, thank you. That's that's really good. Thank you, Sam. Um the yellow box piece is very important, so I'm going to run that to ground. I'm going to work on them links. >> Thank you, though. Okay. Yeah, sorry sorry their policy is rather rather strict there. Um if you have any questions or whatever, feel free to just message me on Discord and I can help you through the process. Perfect. Thank you, Sam. All right. Uh so next we uh we have a three authors for proposal to be moved in draft, and I'm going by the order that is added in the agenda. The first one could be [music] PR number 11466 on EIP GitHub repository, and we are

joined by Alex. All right, let's get this away. Nice. Mhm. Yeah, the descriptions. This state of those on how to claim

transactions needs a mechanism of claiming protections using the claim and those things that don't claim payload. This is two new claims of network availability and network parameters of possible mutual commitment and the inclusion guarantee and loss and minus And we'll be our execution of the data in the block end. That makes sense. The transaction dynamic stone. Content transactions [music] 66 contents in the memory pool before they are ordered into the beginning of block. This procedure is the only additional >> privilege participants are authorized master nodes to perform.

The next one [music] to get there is the probability master terminal nothing can [music] straight block and down and out of the zone. Yep. There's a way to see the delay in transaction inclusion revelation. Yes, [music] uh transaction tail end. Uh we make these attractive to those master nodes that can bring the users existing services to the services if you include them directly. and minus four.

>> There's the commit and reveal frame. >> In the back of the consensus algorithm, we saw a couple of gaps. The purpose of this proposal is to eliminate these gaps within the most common efficient consensus paradigm remaining [music] for that matter.

stone Consensus is similar to this within

[music] the other half of the paradigm. They have to basically handle the broadcasters, run fast, and then handle the transaction within the current phase by the current [music] epoch. The payment transactions are included in block n minus one, but only validation frames are actually included in block n minus one. The execution [music] frame must satisfy the one n minus one by the protocol as a commitment method. These are approximately [music] 2 seconds to broadcast the execution frame n minus one slot and again. The execution frame [music] is anchored in at beginning of the block, and the fourth transaction would not require a commitment. Ah, okay. That's cool.

Does that actually fix front running though? Couldn't you just commit in every block to have a to front run something, and then front run it anyways? Hm. That's probably more of a question for um the discussion, but Yeah, I don't know Alex if you have microphone working. Uh I do, but I I can barely hear you. Oh, I'm so sorry.

Here, I'll just type [music] it out. It's all good. >> I I don't know if you can't hear me.

What's uh I guess the idea is that the payload is uh fully described by as a commitment hash. it it there is no search for it to to read any other data as it is happening in the separate part of the block. Yes, so for the front running case, like

something uh favorable hasn't happened yet. So, it it cannot see the future transactions and it cannot view outside the block or in the future of the block. Uh for the back running, like it it could, like if uh there was a commitment to do the backer running uh like luckily located I guess it could like purely on chain detect the opportunity, but uh you cannot like as I can tell get any information off chain into the reveal frame.

This that was the intention. The guy passed the parent [music] and the conclusion. And got those variables that's supposed [music] to be the parent commitment that's the parent the random number >> Well, interesting. Okay.

Hey. How's the training? I'm very happy to be in Australia. If you want you can send the send us a message. [music] I'll be happy to answer writing I think you've answered most of them. >> All right.

It's not important but yeah. Cool. That's interesting.

Isn't that the case anyways? Like don't you just [music] pay the most? if Uh anyways >> Hey, this is great. All right, next we have ERC PR [music]

1485 and we are joined by Adam. In case there is any question. >> Okay.

Uh essence playing, [music] essence from the Sim gods, blah blah blah. Cool example, great. English skill. >> It's an easy one. [music] Looks pretty

good. Just a few small changes. Do we have time for another one? We have time for another one. So, the next one is BR1606 in ERC and we have Cyber Centric for that. BR1606 By the way,

we haven't started receiving April Fools' Day proposal. I noticed there is the That's Uh and someone has come like added that in agenda as well. Not for agenda but for fun. Uh you know what? Let's give this a read because why not? It's the Holy Grail make you also go Ethereum next list of all the Holy Grails. Okay. Okay, let's see.

So, oh, it's going straight into [music] withdrawal. All right. >> [laughter] >> Ethereum was not nice enough. It was too expensive to match the dress request for the Grail. Let me see if you have this up right here and goes and clash with the Holy Grail. Let's go over the lines

conditions of volume contact with the Grail and share fairly. of the object. Uh it looks like it goes into

centralization security on the medical part of the matter for me. This may be of any interest to the people who go through life with the clay on the brain. Finish the 430 block number. Okay.

I see how [music] this works. And you grab my hand and I push back the ball. Okay, I didn't try to open it up and then I made a call asking for my medical records. What's the block number stable in the middle of the ball? All communications must be recorded and documented. This is a significant number and it's [music] significantly less than 20. Okay. I'm reaching the highway requesting to complete my order. I stopped listening to anybody in the same office or branch that I'm in right now.

The name is at all but your personal mind guide. I have to say okay. I'm buying them now. Perfect. This is This is a pretty good April Fools one. I I appreciate this.

And luckily we are reviewing it as well. Like I don't think we have ever reviewed this kind of proposal on Office Hours. Yeah, it's it's a it's a nice treat. Um Yep. I think they're just going to know what

it is. That's why I have to know what it isn't. >> All right. Well, happy April Fools,

everybody. And uh we'll talk to you on the next office hours, maybe. Thank you so much, Sam. Yes, everyone, we will have more PRs for review in the office hour on next Tuesday at 1600 UTC. Thank you, everyone, for joining us here today.
