yeah we want to talk about again um what we what are we doing uh why are we here and um I think it is quite connected to what we call nosis 3.0 yeah a vision uh to work on large and important goals uh in a decentralized way so in various teams that are independent of each other but still uh cooperate uh coordinate um yeah and work and are kind of connected through shared ambition uh Ambitions and and Visions uh but also economic incentives so what we are working on is um yeah

full stack decentralization how we call it and uh yeah we think it is important or what what is really the thing about um decentralization we would say the two core ideas are ownership um and agency and I want to go through um yeah six six points to uh to demonstrate it but just again roughly um the idea of those various teams and various projects working together on on shared goals here is uh represented in our um yeah this V visualization but what are the really the six the six things that connect us and that um also

most of the talks and presentations here during the three days will be about so if we talk about ownership and decentralization the very first thing you need to own for everything to work is your account uh your identity and I recently had an interesting thought experiment and I think I would invite everyone uh of you to think about it yourself what is is the oldest account you are owning or you using at least so kind of think about maybe your bank account I personally had a bank account I got I got a first one when I was 14 don't think I have access to this anymore I kind of probably lost it long the time and then I I I don't know I had

kind of in the very early days um there was in Germany Facebook clone and there I had an account that was quite important to me but again I I lost it uh over over the years so what is an account um that you can actually uh own yourself and obviously uh yeah account abstraction and save and and kind of those are the things where we think that is really the basis that you have an account that you actually own uh and yeah of course um here are the projects and there will be couple of talks uh during the next days also account abstraction on ethereum became more of a topic again and on on Thursday there's even safe con cross the

river so second thing is if you have this account that you own um in our view ideally you should own it um on a chain where you also have ownership of the chain and we still think um we we still think it's not just about um uh yeah kind of making it trustless potentially with uh with with layer twos we still think it's about ownership as well so you should have ownership and you should um or you should have at least the ability to have ownership of the things you're using and um of course running running your own note and um yeah being not only owning but operating a chain we still think is is a a big desirable goal so it's not no news that

we uh uh yeah want to advance the the cause of um yeah being a validator uh yourself and enabling that and again there will be talks and presentations um in the coming days on that so the third the third thing is if we have ownership and ownership is uh yeah kind of represented in the form of tokens there need to be efficient ways to exchange ownership exchange tokens uh and of course that should be structured in a way uh where the user interest is um is put first and again there will be a couple of uh there at least presentation on for cob and um kinetics

are too uh here at Decon um and number four is maybe one of the most ambitious ones um is circles and circles is um the project I personally am yeah probably most uh passionate about and it was um yeah kind of a project that brought me into the space so um so over 10 years ago I was well fascinated as as many who early with with Bitcoin because that was uh what existed back then but at some point I asked myself um would Humanity really benefit if we

would all kind of um transition to uh to bitcoin and that was not is still not not obvious to me whether that is the case so I mean I would benefit for sure um So currently probably one one or two% of of the humanity hold Bitcoin so if the whole world would transition to it well those 2% would certainly uh benefit a lot um and circle kind of tried or still tries to take this core some core ideas of Bitcoin decentralization yeah no Central Authority um but have a system where I would give a clear yes to this question would say yes Humanity um

would benefit from moving to it so very roughly the rules and circles are uh that everyone who joins the system issues one unit uh per hour um so yeah the issuance is well decentralized um and again there will be a talk uh about circles I will do a talk on circles on on on Thursday so so more to come and you saw kind of here the transition of the logo um so again little bit more history we launched it um yeah three years ago um and went viral for for for some time uh but still Tech was not working kind of uh it yeah

it fizzled away uh and now we are um yeah working on a on a larger relaunch and that will also be um scheme here uh at Decon so a money system where um yeah that you own in a way so the fifth scheme is um we need to make all those things actually uh work in the real world so it's not it's not enough um to have those ideas and I mean well most of those ideas are not new um we have been in the space for for many years now um and most of or for for for for the

longest time those ideas still were or are isolated we have we have our well we have our bubble here uh our blockchain bubble um but uh in many cases we still haven't uh done the leap to yeah get it working in the quote unquote um real world and that is certainly what um yeah in this case as an example nosis pay is about and yeah we are quite quite happy and proud that uh we were able to um release this earlier this year and again there will be uh specifically tomorrow morning a couple of um talks

related to pay uh payments and and and specifically no space so yes we are finally at a point where uh yeah I I can use a reg um Regular card um in well in in in the real world and it is connected to to all the things uh I mentioned before to to the to the identity I own to the chain I have ownership in to the um well soon um the money system I own um so finally or number six is um privacy and that is certainly one of the topics that is uh still yeah I mean

maybe least least developed or I mean the the technology is there but it's certainly not rolled out in any meaningful um in any meaningful scale so uh so connected to uh to nosis pay um if you now do actually transaction of your daily life on chain this obviously becomes even more um burning topic what are the things you um you want to reveal and and and can you choose uh what you reveal and three or at least two pres uh projects that will do presentations are um yeah nosis VPN um and shutter so no VPN I think explains itself what it is

shutter is um the idea that you can encrypt and have at least short-term privacy on on the transactions you are sending um so those six topics are topics well that have been around um for quite a while and again we we believe working on those topics will should make the world a better place um but there is certainly now seven topic that simply cannot be ignored I think if you [Music] yeah if if you think about technology and how it impacts Society you

absolutely need to um to be thinking about uh AI as well and here I say I would say um my our um kind of understanding or intuition where where the journey should go is at least for me much less developed so I I think it's will be extremely important uh but I I don't have the clear answer or Vision um what exactly we should be working towards two so I mean that is one attempt to say uh I mean clearly I don't want to say uh a few AI systems that are that are um uh

controlled by large entities um yeah kind of do dominate the world essentially and and if if users or people interact with them then it's not taking the user interest uh first but but the company's interest that's certainly not what we want certainly also don't want that frankly AI um will be killing all of us and I honestly think there is a decent probability of that and uh here in the morning we will have a a panel about um exactly that question so here on II I have less clear opinions but it's very clear we need to pay um pay attention to it and there are

a bunch of projects here that are also um yeah also presenting um their work okay so those are the seven um goals that I would say yeah most almost everyone um who is presenting and uh on this conference is in some form uh working towards to or providing some some part of it um so the last thing I want to uh to to show you is now a project we have um been de developing uh and yeah last depcon I already mentioned it as as

as NOS wallet but today is the day where we want to uh yeah give it give it to you to to to try or kind of yeah make an early um release of it and it is of course of course combining um almost all the things um I just mentioned uh so it is meant to be a wallet that hopefully in the not too far distance distant future um yeah I always say my mom can use um uh and and but still that aderes to all those principles so an identity that you uh actually own um yeah it will have

um the circuit integration so yeah you're very uh welcome to uh scan this QR code and uh try it out yourself so few more few more things um one of the uh important uh things it uses is this yeah semi- New Concept called pass Keys um so yeah a way to uh kind of to have keys that are much more native in your of your operating system so long story short the main differentiation Factor will be that if you on board you don't have to uh write down a seat phrase or anything you will just use um Pass Key it will uh create an identity for you that is then um yeah

controlled uh by this py and of course it is nicely integrating um to many of the other things um we are building all right so um looking forward to three days of uh of Decon and handing it over to the next speaker thank you
