Hello. Um so happy to be here again. I'm Joel Hansen. I'm the founder of E P City. So, we are building a global tech frontier community. So, our first permanent hub is in Florianopolis. It's in the southern of Brazil. And Florianopolis is just an amazing island. It has a combination of great infrastructure, uh beautiful nature, international tech hub, urban life. It's just just amazing. And I I strongly

recommend you to come and visit us. Uh so this year so far, mainly our pop-up city has attracted more than 600 participants from more than 10 different countries. And it represents uh 2x in the number of participants and 3x revenue from compared with the last year. So, our builders deployed more than 50 projects in crypto and AI.

And we distributed more than 10,000 dollars in grants for the community. It was really really special this first years. So, our focus is to build at the frontier of technology. Of course, AI, crypto, cryptography, uh robotics. But actually deploying in the real world to solve real problems, mainly from emerging countries. So, we are talking about basic education, uh governance, health care, safety, basic infrastructure. We need to use these powerful technologies to solve

these hard problems. That's our focus at the BCD. So, it turns out this is a great strategy to bootstrap a community. So, we have three stakeholders, the builder, the company, and the government. For builders, it's the best learning environment. So, uh in the age of AI, you don't actually need someone teaching you or sharing content with you, but you do need a real environment where you can deploy your product and test with real users.

If you are just using AI, uh burning your tokens, uh you're just creating something that no one's going to use it. For companies, uh it unlocks new use cases within these new industries. And for governments, cities, it's a huge opportunity to make an impact. So, we are talking about for builders, individual membership, company membership, and government partnerships. So, economic opportunities for builders, grants, bounties, job [snorts] opportunities.

For companies, as I mentioned, it unlocks new use cases and drive adoption in these new industries. And for governments and and cities and society in general, it's local transformation and better narratives. And this last one is very, very important. We desperately need better narratives around frontier technologies. So, we are the generation with access to the most powerful technologies ever created.

I think we had we have the It's our responsibility to leverage this this new technologies, these innovations to finally solve these hard problems in society. So, and and create better narratives as well. So, that's why I'm producing also a documentaries uh to showcase the positive impact of these new communities, these new innovations. So, if you haven't watched it yet, you can go to networkstate.film and watch our first episode.

And join us at EP City. Every April of the year, we uh host one-month pop-up cities. So, you should come visit us. Thank you so much.
