Zach Abrams

Zach Abrams is the co-founder and CEO of Bridge, the stablecoin infrastructure company that Stripe acquired for roughly $1.1 billion, its largest acquisition ever. A Duke graduate, he co-founded the peer-to-peer payments app Evenly in 2011, which Square acquired in 2013, and went on to lead Coinbase's consumer business as head of product and serve as chief product officer at Brex before starting Bridge with Sean Yu in 2022. Bridge's APIs for issuing, moving, and accepting stablecoins found early adoption among businesses moving cross-border revenue, including SpaceX repatriating Starlink income, and under Stripe the unit has launched its Open Issuance platform for branded stablecoins and applied for a national bank trust charter. He has become a prominent voice arguing that stablecoins will become the dominant payment rail for global commerce.
