Ye Zhang

Ye Zhang is the co-founder of Scroll, a bytecode-level EVM-equivalent zkEVM Layer 2 that scales Ethereum while inheriting its execution environment and security. A zero-knowledge researcher by background, he began working on zkEVM designs before founding Scroll and has collaborated closely with the Ethereum Foundation's PSE team on the shared zkEVM effort. He is a frequent explainer of zkEVM architecture, proof systems, and hardware acceleration on podcasts and in research talks.
