Yat Siu

Yat Siu is the co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, the Hong Kong-based Web3 company behind The Sandbox and a portfolio of more than 600 investments across blockchain gaming, digital assets, and the open metaverse. A veteran technology entrepreneur born in Vienna and based in Hong Kong since 1996, he founded Outblaze, whose messaging assets were sold to IBM in 2009, before turning Animoca into one of the earliest and most convicted investors in NFTs and digital property rights. He is a prominent advocate for Web3 in Asia, serving on the Hong Kong government's Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development, and has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Global Leader of Tomorrow.
