Vance Spencer
Vance Spencer is the co-founder of Framework Ventures, the venture firm he built with Michael Anderson that was arguably the first VC to go all in on DeFi, notching early investments in Chainlink, Synthetix, Aave, and The Graph. Before Framework, the pair built and sold Hashletes, a digital collectibles startup with official NFL licensing, and before crypto Spencer worked at Netflix in Los Angeles and Tokyo, helping relaunch the Japan business and later joining corporate development for northern Asia. He is a regular voice on Blockworks programming, co-hosting Bell Curve and the Framework-backed weekly show Oneshot, where he works through market structure, macro, and the business of onchain finance.
