Uma Roy

Uma Roy is the co-founder and CEO of Succinct, the zero knowledge proof infrastructure company behind the open source SP1 zkVM and the decentralized Succinct Prover Network, which she founded with John Guibas in 2022. She studied mathematics and computer science at MIT, earning a master's in machine learning, then worked as an AI researcher at Google Brain and as a founding engineer at ML infrastructure startup Gantry. Succinct raised a $55 million round led by Paradigm in March 2024, and its technology is used to bring ZK proving to rollups, bridges, and other Ethereum infrastructure.
