Sunny Aggarwal
Sunny Aggarwal is the co-founder of Osmosis, the leading decentralized exchange and liquidity hub of the Cosmos ecosystem. His path into crypto ran through UC Berkeley, where he co-founded the Blockchain at Berkeley club before dropping out to work on Cosmos full time. At Tendermint he spent years as a core developer on the Cosmos SDK and the IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) protocol, the foundation that lets sovereign blockchains talk to each other. In 2021 he co-founded Osmosis, which grew out of a hackathon project into a DEX that has facilitated tens of billions of dollars in trading volume across more than 100 connected chains, and drew a landmark investment led by Paradigm. A fixture on shows like Epicenter, The Interop, and Bankless, he is one of the most articulate advocates for the interchain vision of app-specific blockchains.
