Steve Sosnick

Steve Sosnick is Chief Strategist at Interactive Brokers, where he also serves as Head Trader of IBKR Securities Services, the firm's trading division formerly known as Timber Hill. He joined Timber Hill in 1995 as an equity risk manager and options market maker, led the firm's expansion into Canada, and spent much of his career developing algorithmic and electronic trading strategies before moving into his public-facing strategist role. Earlier he held senior trading positions at Morgan Stanley, Lehman Brothers, and Salomon Brothers, where he completed the firm's renowned training program. A frequent guest on Bloomberg TV, CNBC, and Fox Business, he holds both an MBA in Finance and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School and has served on the boards of several stock and options exchanges.
