Siân Jones

Siân Jones is a crypto regulation specialist who co-founded XReg Consulting in 2019, a group of former regulators advising governments and companies on cryptoasset policy, and served as its Senior Partner and Chair until 2023. She previously architected Gibraltar's DLT regulatory framework and was seconded to the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission as Senior Adviser on DLT. She led a global initiative to develop an interVASP messaging standard in response to the FATF travel rule, served as a technical expert on the FATF's Policy Development Group, and for years appeared as Epicenter's resident regulatory correspondent, making her one of the space's longest-standing policy voices.
