Pranav Kanade

Pranav Kanade is the portfolio manager of VanEck's Digital Assets Alpha Fund, an actively managed strategy he pitched to CEO Jan van Eck and launched inside the firm in 2022. He came to digital assets from traditional credit investing, having worked as a credit portfolio manager at Millennium Management and earlier at Angelo Gordon, Hutchin Hill Capital, and UBS. He is a regular guest across Blockworks podcasts, where he argues for a fundamentals-driven, "liquid venture" approach to token investing.
