Tieshun Roquerre

Pacman is the pseudonymous founder of Blur, the Ethereum NFT marketplace built for professional traders that overtook OpenSea in trading volume within months of its October 2022 launch. He pioneered the points-based airdrop and bidding incentive playbook that reshaped NFT market competition, and he later launched Blend, a peer-to-peer perpetual NFT lending protocol, and Blast, a yield-bearing Layer 2. Before Blur he founded Namebase, a decentralized domain registrar, and was a Thiel Fellow. In February 2023 he publicly revealed his identity as Tieshun Roquerre in a Twitter thread, though he continues to work publicly under the Pacman persona.
