Owen Healy
Owen Healy is the founder and director of Owen Healy Blockchain Talent, an Irish recruitment firm that places candidates into web3 and blockchain roles across dozens of countries. He moved from an HR background into blockchain recruitment in early 2021, building the business from scratch after becoming unemployed during the pandemic and networking his way into the industry on LinkedIn. He has since become a recurring voice on web3 careers and hiring, giving interviews and talks at Ethereum conferences including ETH Belgrade, ETHCluj, and ETHWarsaw. His talk in the ETV archive, on the skills needed to start a web3 career, covers the same ground he speaks about on that conference circuit: breaking in through DAOs, hackathons, open source contributions, and personal brand.
