Mikhail Kudinov
Mikhail Kudinov is a cryptographer working on post-quantum cryptography and provable security, with a focus on hash-based signatures. He is a member of the SPHINCS+ team, co-authored 'Hash-Based Multi-Signatures for Post-Quantum Ethereum' with Justin Drake, Dmitry Khovratovich and Benedikt Wagner, and earned his PhD at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2025 with the thesis 'Hash Functions in a Post-Quantum World'. Before his PhD he led applied cryptography teams at the Russian Quantum Center, and he consults for Blockstream on post-quantum security for Bitcoin.
