Max Resnick
Max Resnick is a blockchain researcher and economist who became one of Ethereum's most outspoken internal critics before making a headline-grabbing move to Solana. As head of research at Special Mechanisms Group, a Consensys subsidiary, he argued that Ethereum's rollup-centric roadmap was misguided and that the base layer itself should scale. In December 2024 he joined Anza, the Solana core development studio spun out of Solana Labs, as lead economist, where he has been a driving voice behind the Alpenglow consensus overhaul and Solana's ambition to compete with traditional exchanges on speed.
