Laura Shin
Laura Shin is a crypto journalist, the founder and host of the Unchained podcast, and the author of "The Cryptopians: Idealism, Greed, Lies, and the Making of the First Big Cryptocurrency Craze" (PublicAffairs, 2022), a definitive account of Ethereum's early years. A former senior editor at Forbes, she was the first mainstream journalist to cover crypto full time, and while researching her book she and her sources uncovered who they believe was behind the 2016 DAO attack on Ethereum. Launched in 2016, Unchained is one of the longest-running and most popular crypto podcasts, and her shows and videos have drawn tens of millions of downloads and views. A graduate of Stanford and Columbia's journalism school, she is now working on a book about the collapse of FTX.
