James Young

James Young is founder and CEO of Abridged Inc, maker of Collab.Land, a token-gating tool integrated into tens of thousands of Discord and Telegram communities. He started the company in 2018 and grew it alongside the NFT-driven surge in token-gated community management. Earlier in his career he was the first lead developer on Zynga's FarmVille before moving into crypto, where he co-wrote a 2017 white paper on token-curated registries, helped create the Moloch DAO framework, and co-summoned MetaCartel, one of the ecosystem's earliest grants-focused DAOs.
