Izaak Meckler

Izaak Meckler is a co-founder and the CTO of O(1) Labs, the company behind Mina Protocol, the succinct blockchain whose entire state is verifiable with a roughly 22KB recursive zk-SNARK proof. A mathematician and cryptographer who did graduate work at UC Berkeley after studying mathematics and computer science at the University of Chicago, he is behind much of Mina's core cryptography, including the Pickles recursion system and the SnarkyJS (now o1js) framework for writing zkApps in TypeScript. He has been a frequent guest and workshop leader across the ZK Podcast's events, from zkStudyClub to ZK HACK.
