Eric Saraniecki
Eric Saraniecki is co-founder and head of network strategy at Digital Asset, the company behind the Canton Network, a privacy-enabled blockchain built for regulated financial institutions. He co-founded Digital Asset in 2014 alongside Yuval Rooz, Shaul Kfir, and others, and earlier co-founded Cumberland, DRW's crypto trading arm and one of the largest liquid trading desks in the industry. He has spent over a decade building infrastructure to bring institutional capital markets onchain, and Canton now counts major banks, exchanges, and market infrastructures among its participants, with a $135 million strategic round in 2025 backed by DRW Venture Capital, Tradeweb, Citadel Securities, BNP Paribas, Circle Ventures, and DTCC. On ETV shows he argues the case for privacy-preserving institutional blockchains as the back end of global finance.
