Doug Colkitt

Doug Colkitt is the founder of Crocodile Labs, the team behind Ambient Finance (formerly CrocSwap), a decentralized exchange protocol that runs every pool inside a single smart contract, and a co-founder of Fogo, an SVM-based layer 1 chain designed for high-frequency trading latency. Before building in DeFi he spent years as a quantitative researcher in high-frequency trading at Citadel Securities, focused on Japanese equities and market microstructure, an obsession with market design that runs through both his DEX and his L1 work. He is a frequent podcast guest on market structure topics, from AMM versus order book design to exchange crashes and liquidation cascades.
