Csaba Kiraly
Csaba Kiraly is a peer-to-peer networking researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, holding a PhD and more than two decades of research experience in distributed systems and overlay networking. He has authored multiple Ethereum Improvement Proposals aimed at improving devp2p mempool efficiency, including EIP-8094, which proposes referencing blobs by content hash so nodes avoid re-sending blob data on replacement transactions, and EIP-8077, which covers announcing transactions with their nonce. He has also given other conference talks on Ethereum's peer-to-peer protocol landscape and on scaling libp2p for Ethereum. His ETV talk covers scaling Ethereum's networking stack, spanning mempool design, blob propagation, and congestion control.
