Carl Beekhuizen

Carl Beekhuizen contributed to the early design of the Beacon Chain, Ethereum's proof-of-stake consensus layer, and of the KZG ceremony, the trusted setup for EIP-4844 that ran in 2023 and collected 141,416 contributions. He was a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation for seven years and left in May 2026.
