Ben Kim
Ben Kim founded Superblock, a blockchain company that has worked on making full nodes easier to run. Kim presented Ethanos, a research approach to reducing the storage and synchronization needed for account-based blockchains. It periodically removes inactive accounts from the current state and lets users restore them with cryptographic proofs, allowing nodes to keep a smaller working state. Superblock has used the approach in its blockchain development.
