Avichal Garg

Avichal Garg is the co-founder and a managing partner of Electric Capital, a crypto-focused venture firm he started with Curtis Spencer in 2018 that is known for its annual Developer Report tracking engineering activity across blockchain ecosystems. A serial entrepreneur, he co-founded PrepMe and later Spool, which Facebook acquired in 2012, after which he served as Director of Product Management at Facebook leading a 400-person Local product group. Earlier in his career he was a product manager at Google, and he was a part-time partner at Y Combinator. He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in computer science from Stanford and serves as Chairman of the Crypto Council for Innovation.
