Alex Shevchenko

Alex Shevchenko is the co-founder and CEO of Aurora Labs, the team behind Aurora, an Ethereum-compatible environment that runs as a set of smart contracts on NEAR Protocol, and the Rainbow Bridge connecting the two ecosystems. He holds a doctoral degree in mathematics and physics and previously led development of the Exonum blockchain framework at Bitfury. Under his leadership Aurora has expanded from a single EVM into a network of customizable Virtual Chains, and he remains a prominent voice in the NEAR ecosystem on topics like cross-chain intents and privacy.
