Alex Bertomeu-Gilles
Alex Bertomeu-Gilles is the co-founder of Allez Labs, a DeFi risk and strategy firm she started in 2024 alongside Matt Cole and Khaled Grira, whose team serves as long-standing risk contributors to protocols including Aave and Kamino. She was Aave's founding risk manager, establishing the risk function behind the industry's largest lending protocol, and she is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. Before DeFi she worked as an actuary and directed The Blockchain Actuary, an early effort to bring actuarial rigor to crypto risk.
