Alessandro Coglio

Alessandro Coglio developed formal methods for specifying, transforming and verifying software at Kestrel Institute and Kestrel Technology, which Coglio co-founded. At Provable, formerly Aleo Systems, Coglio worked on verifying the compilation of Leo and Aleo instructions into arithmetic circuits for zero-knowledge proofs and on Aleo’s Byzantine-fault-tolerant consensus protocol. Earlier work applied formal verification to Java, Java Card, x86 instructions, Android security and blockchain systems.
